We've just done a new code release and there are a few issuettes - we'll work through them.

Do refresh your pages though - that gets rid of most of the problems (though not all).

mac/safari: classic/workplace is screwy (whilst it's always been screwy it's worse than usual e.g. font is in black not soothing grey on active convos and there's loads of unnecessary blue on the threads) but mostly there's no "last poster" listing in active convos.

Tortington · 28/10/2009 21:57

its all a bit shit

ronshar · 28/10/2009 22:01

Hellmouthcusty.
Thats about right.

snice · 28/10/2009 22:02

Agree with custy

Washersaurus · 28/10/2009 22:15

Urgh! What is going on? Threads I'm on is all spaced out with bullet points and impossible to look at and the font is teeny tiny.

I'm using Google Chrome and MN Classic. Please fix it, pleeeeeease!

andirobobo · 28/10/2009 22:16

I give up - I am going to bed - let it be sorted by Lunchtime tomorrow or I will be unhappy!

KimiTheThreadSlayingAxeKiller · 28/10/2009 22:23

what have you done????
It is terrible

kitkatcadaverqueen · 28/10/2009 22:28

I'm going cross eyed trying to deal with this - its horrible.

agree with custy

MonsterousNasalPustule · 28/10/2009 22:29

Yikes, the mousy is overheating scrolling up/down/up/down

On AOL and MN New

Huge white at top, not sure about the preview/post buttons, look weird

HelenMumsnet · 28/10/2009 22:31

Ahem.

Thank you all for your sulking comments. They will all be reported to BigTech in the morning (if he's not too scared to clock in for Shed duty).

More stuff to add to the glitch list we posted earlier:

  1. Thread titles not changing colour when you've clicked on them.
  1. Threads I'm Watching - gone weird.
  1. Not be able to start a thread in Puschairs.

  2. Posters' names in different colours in Classic.

mejon · 28/10/2009 22:35

None of the threads I've been reading are turning purple either. It's all blue so I can't remember where I've been. I'm using New on IE (I think). Oooh - and typing this in is a bit odd too - seems like a bit of a delay which didn't happen before.

NoNameNameyChangey · 28/10/2009 22:36

I think the different colours in classic is for those who do/do not have a profile...could be wrong of course!

My buttons are still all misshapen too...

Helen, have you got "why has classic been made all modern, again" on that list for worn out and gibbering bigtech?

BirthdayCard · 28/10/2009 22:37

Mine looks all wrong. I usually like classic and use it on firefox. It just looks all wrong. The trhreads I'm on looks too SQUASHED out and is quie hard To distinguish the threads/ posts from each other.

I DON'T LIKE IT! [HSAD]

BEAUTlFUL · 28/10/2009 22:38

This is like the time we went to Grandma's house and she'd bought a new sugar bowl. Not a big deal on the surface, but emotionally devastating.

HelenMumsnet · 28/10/2009 22:39

No, I haven't, NoName.

Think that strictly counts as a moan, rather than a glitch.

And the Moan List is scary!

But I will pass your particular moan on...

Aranea · 28/10/2009 22:43

Don't forget the white space please!! It's driving me nuts having to scroll down every time I open a page in order to find any text!

Am using MN New and Internet Explorer.

EccentricaGallumbats · 28/10/2009 22:44

And the first few sentences at the top of a topic are squished together.

PerryPlatypus · 28/10/2009 22:44

"10. Not be able to start a thread in Puschairs."

Do you really have to fix that one?

thumbscrewwitch · 28/10/2009 22:47

Has anyone mentioned the spurious 0 on the bar that says "This is page X of X" at the bottom of the page?

Does that give you a clue which layout I'm using cos I don't know! It has pages of 25 posts each and a pleasantly muted pale blue bar for each post header. OK, I've jsut lokoed and I think I'm using Mumsnet Classic Muted.

I am using IE version 8, I think.

Threads I'm On is a total nightmare - can't see more than 5 messages now on each thread, as well as being dreadful layout and font.

kitkatcadaverqueen · 28/10/2009 22:53

I have a 1 on the bar that says "page xofx"

The colours are horrible. When I look at the "im on " bit the headers for each thread don't stand out like they used to...

nannynick · 28/10/2009 22:53

Advance Search is a bit odd. It's the showsearch=arch page itself I feel. Seems to be hiding the content, just giving the By Keyword, By Time headings (with a lot of white space inbetween). Display:none; Hmm try not hiding it, makes it hard to see

Google Chrome 3.0.195.27 (Official Build 28507), Mumsnet New.

NoNameNameyChangey · 28/10/2009 22:56

Aw Helen...

Oh ok, as long as it is noted somewhere

CybilAviationAuthority · 28/10/2009 22:57

I'm going to bed now...this won't be like this in the morning, will it?

Emprexia · 28/10/2009 23:00

i have a rogue 3 on that "This page" thing.

Purple buttons in Mumsnet New are still squiffy!

NoNameNameyChangey · 28/10/2009 23:04

Glitch NOT Whinge (well I hope not anyway!)

Threads I am watching is not updating with any new posts...I clicked watch on a thread at around 9 which has had approx 15 posts since (it is in activ convos now) but it shows no posts when I go to my Watching list!
