We've just done a new code release and there are a few issuettes - we'll work through them.

Do refresh your pages though - that gets rid of most of the problems (though not all).

Hiya - it now won't let me pste in links...

MonsterousNasalPustule · 29/10/2009 20:45

Ewe mine changes from MN new to Sober and goes eerily white.

Kitkat i have the ability, weird how some can and some can't do / change stuff.

CantSleepWontSleep · 29/10/2009 20:47

It's not in the body of the message for me mp.

Not being able to remove threads I'm watching is a bit ridiculous, but I can live with it for a few days, as long as you sort out threads I'm on and get rid of all the crap on the right which I never look at and which has annoyed me ever since some of it started appearing a few months ago.

It's still really bugging me that a maximum of four new posts appear on 'Threads I'm On' regardless of how many there have actually been since my last post. Please tell me you don't plan for it to stay this way!

Not that I don't appreciate all the hard work etc. but [grumble grumble]

CantSleepWontSleep · 29/10/2009 20:53

Actually I'm not sure that I do appreciate all the hard work this time cyteen, but that's maybe because I haven't seen any benefits yet. Can someone tell me what the good bits are?

iwascyteenagewerewolf · 29/10/2009 20:54

Well yes, I just wanted to avoid a bollocking [craven]

CantSleepWontSleep · 29/10/2009 20:55

...

paisleyleaf · 29/10/2009 21:12

It's still just a load of black text for me.
Threads I'm on especially is just a list; hard to distinguish what's a title.

kitkatcadaverqueen · 29/10/2009 21:53

MNP Am now wondering if was just me being useless, but, oh I don't like this much... as dp said I come on mumsnet for a laugh...

MonsterousNasalPustule · 29/10/2009 22:02

Kitkat

I do think MNHG should have posted ahead of time to warn us they were doing upgrades/changes on x day.

kitkatcadaverqueen · 29/10/2009 22:18

MNP, if they'd done that they would have had moaning before time too I hope it doesn't interfere with tomorrow webchat about swine flu vaccine...

MNHQ I know im contrary - last night I hated the purple headlines in the "i'm on" section, and now I hate that in my "i'm on" the thread titles and posts aren't separated at all, it all looks like one giant post

kitkatcadaverqueen · 29/10/2009 22:21

Couldn't you get some of us to trial it?

And what are the new good bits that we are going to love??

treedeLivingDeadery · 29/10/2009 22:55

Oh good grief. My mn has been wierd all day and I have tried to be brave but this is actually affecting my mood now.

Am off for a fiddle.

With my settings you understand.

thumbscrewwitch · 29/10/2009 22:58

Tree! Where you been, lovely? Haven't seen you around for ages, but then I've been on and off too. Hope all is well with Hatts and love your Hallowe'en name!

treedeLivingDeadery · 29/10/2009 23:04

OOOOOO hello!! Yours too

Harriet top banana, special hydrolised milk is a winner. I have an egg donation thread, it's in conception. Pop in and send vibes. I have been there and on nappies thread and generally mooching. Less on other boards though, and less late night.

Awww, lovely to see you. Hows the big Down Under?

thumbscrewwitch · 29/10/2009 23:13

going ok - we're getting settled now and have our first UK visitor coming tomorrow - a friend who happens to be over in Sydney on business. will post pics at some point when this update malarkey has settled down!

drlove8 · 29/10/2009 23:29

.... i just got used to it from the last time you changed it , and now youve done it again .... .

stressed2007 · 30/10/2009 07:59

Mine still no good this morning. Has this been mended yet or is this how it is supposed to be?

Frrrightattendant · 30/10/2009 08:17

I am worried this is it now. If it is I am sunk on 'threads I'm on', can't follow it at all.

I can't deal with the weirdy new version

Please can someone update us? Thanks.

janx · 30/10/2009 08:33

I cannot start a new thread - some of the topics - ie pushchairs under products seems alright - but not on the sales boards - you are going to loose a lot of people with this wierd layout - lots of people are not happy with it all

OhYouBadBadKitten · 30/10/2009 09:08

Biscuit ?

smugmumofboys · 30/10/2009 09:11

It's making me feel queasy.

I just read a thread and all the text was in red.

Why?

kitkatcadaverqueen · 30/10/2009 09:39

nope its driving me nuts, i'm sorry, I know you are trying to make it better, but the reality is that i'd rather do housework than try to have a conversation on here atm its giving me a headache.

FlyMeToDunoon · 30/10/2009 09:45

Yes what the heck is going on?
If this is it, it can't be surely can it, but if it is then I will be really put off.

Last 15 mins all looks the same-no different coloured headings.
Threads I'm watching has no details of last few posts so I cant see if there is anything new on them.
Big white spaces on each side of text.
Have had problems posting too.
