am i too early? it just arrived and ds1 has LOTS of things to tell you about it
it doesn't say what to do next except "All your feedback is to go on the discussion board on Mumsnet."

i want to discuss the easy flip lid and mess free nozzle
go on let me

dp and ds have tested it now actually
the reaction was insipid

gawd hartley's are mad to be missing all this
it is like gold dust - the direct, honest, feedback, fresh from the breakfast table

Crazy!

"If squeezy jam was a large manufacturer of jam, would it gather fresh feedback, or wait till a skin or crust had formed?"

Have you tried it yet, Franny?

FrannyandZooey · 28/06/2009 09:56

nah
i don't really like jam much

Can we have a Simon Cowell dirty dream feedback thread instead of a jam one as I don't know anything about squeezy jam but I did have a naughty dream about Mr Cowell.

I don't even watch any of those crap programmes he does so have no idea why he should pop up in my thoughts (so to speak )

alittlebitshy · 28/06/2009 10:04

am loving this thread!!!!!!

And how do i NEVER notice when things are to be tested.

FrannyandZooey · 28/06/2009 10:07

he is insidious isn't he norbert
i think we should punish him thoroughly
i'll go first and you can watch

Franny that sounds like the story line of another very dirrrrty dream

FlyMeToDunoon · 28/06/2009 10:18

'red worms' DD2 said as it came out onto the bread.

Yummy but slightly disturbing. The jam was ok too.

SpookyMadMummy · 28/06/2009 10:48

I, too have squeezy jam feedback to add.
[waits]

We got it yesterday morning, and the DCs immediately consumed most of it with bread - they were very impressed. We got strawberry btw.

Haven't had any myself, but I prefer raspberry - has a nice bite that mixes well with peanut butter.

FrannyandZooey · 28/06/2009 13:25

ook @ red worms
i daren't try it now

OP posts:
LovelyRitaMeterMaid · 28/06/2009 17:29

big fat worms tbh

DH has tried it now as well and said he thought it was rather difficult to get it out. He also said he wouldn't buy it.

He quite liked the taste though.

andirobo · 28/06/2009 22:04

My DH keeps eating it, but I realised it should be kept in the fridge - so I have put it in there - right at the back !!!! Heee Hee

MrsFogi · 29/06/2009 11:36

Very pleased - our strawberry squeezy jam arrived this morning. The little fogis will be very pleased when they return home (although I will hide it until after lunch is eaten). So.....is there an official thread somewhere?

giantkatestacks · 29/06/2009 11:40

Am also waiting impatiently...not that we actually have much feedback to give seeing as our 'favourite jam recipe' involves err toast.

Libra · 29/06/2009 11:59

We have the squeezy jam too.

But I am forcing everyone to finish the opened non-squeezy variety first before they get to play.

Feedback re what do to with the finished bottle - DS2 wants to make a dinosaur. But basically that's what he wants to do with all finished jars and bottles. When it's recycling day for the bin men I put out a box of dinosaurs.

yeeeeeuch - what IS this? some kind of....sticky....smooth....GUNK smeared all over my table?

OP posts:
MrsFogi · 29/06/2009 23:29

Well dh is refusing to touch it - he says a squeezy bottle freaks him out. However dds are delighted at the prospect of eating a great deal of jam.

FrannyandZooey · 30/06/2009 18:40

squeezy jam? what squeezy jam? oh yeah, i vaguely remember it......kind of

OP posts:
flashharriet · 30/06/2009 18:43

F&Z, this is one of my favourite thread titles ever

FrannyandZooey · 30/06/2009 18:50

why thank you [ego]

OP posts:
HelenMumsnet · 30/06/2009 18:53

Are you all still waiting to feed back, jam-wise?

FrannyandZooey · 30/06/2009 19:58

YES FOR THE LOVE OF GOD YES
we need an outlet for our jammy musings

OP posts:
HelenMumsnet · 30/06/2009 22:18

OK, OK. Will try to find out what's happening.
