am i too early? it just arrived and ds1 has LOTS of things to tell you about it
it doesn't say what to do next except "All your feedback is to go on the discussion board on Mumsnet."

i want to discuss the easy flip lid and mess free nozzle
go on let me

Why didn't I get any squeezy jam?

PerfectPrefect · 26/06/2009 18:58

What squeezy jam.

DD3 would quite like squeezy jam.

Tortoise · 26/06/2009 18:59

Squeezy jam? Why didn't i see anything about testing squeezy jam??

TheFool · 26/06/2009 18:59

i missed the squeezy jam thing

FrannyandZooey · 26/06/2009 19:12

i would have thought i dreamt it except that here it is
i can't remember where, or why
all i know is some people get a dyson, some people get a joggler, and i get squeezy jam

I got some today as well!! Kids cant wait to try it in the morning!!

Goober · 26/06/2009 21:47

Where's mine?

I want friggin' squeezy bloody jam!!!!

carriemumsnet · 26/06/2009 21:49

Sorry chaps - we weren't aware that they'd sent it all out - will start an official thread as soon as I can root out suggested questions /info etc...

Delighted to hear you're so keen

MNHQ

Goober · 26/06/2009 21:50

I'm keen too.

carriemumsnet · 26/06/2009 21:55

Just checked correspondence and don't think we've had final confirmation on the exact feedback questions. Can you bear to hold all those jammy, squeezy thoughts in till Monday? I can try and chase the Hartley's folks over the weekend, but can't promise I'll catch them...

You'll definitely get an email on Monday with a link to the thread so you won't be able to miss it.

Apologies to all who missed out on the squeezy jamming session...Will see if I can get a MN discount

Washersaurus · 26/06/2009 21:57

Oh I missed out on free jam? I have tried this jam already though (35p reduced in Tesco). The DC's seemed to like it but it is quite hard to squeeze and you can't get the last bit out - be warned!

Goober · 26/06/2009 22:06

Pah to discount. Free is the only discount that I like.

FrannyandZooey · 26/06/2009 22:27

"Can you bear to hold all those jammy, squeezy thoughts in till Monday?"

i don't know
it might not be healthy to hold them in
we could end up with a jammy blockage that was not able to be squeezed out even with a mess free nozzle

if it helps, there are questions in the letter they have sent with the jam

and it says there's a microsite
but the address doesn't work

basically they are UNPREPARED for my free flowing jammy feedback
i am unimpressed

TrinityRhino · 26/06/2009 22:29

We got some as well. Haven't tried it yet though.

It looks very smooth in the squeezy thingy.

hunkermunker · 26/06/2009 22:32

What flavour is it?

I am guessing strawberry.

Or apricot.

Or pip-free raspberry (why, why, WHY - raspberries have pips, get over it).

Am hoping it's strawberry (not evil pip-free raspberry) because apricot would look like free-flowing ear wax, I fear.

Washersaurus · 26/06/2009 22:36

We had blackcurrant, I didn't realise there was a variety - I've never seen it anywhere else.

FrannyandZooey · 26/06/2009 22:37

it's strawberry and it promises to be smooth
i fear it is going to be like a kind of gel
i am slightly afraid of it to tell the truth
the feedback we want to give so far consists of answering some of the questions posed in the letter

to wit:
"What fun ingenious uses are there for empty Squeezy bottles?"
ds1 had many thoughts on this subject, starting with "a water fight"

and
"What other jam flavours would your kids and their friends like, and what would they turn their noses up at?"
ds states that he would turn his nose up at "avocado jam"

i can't wait to pass this on to Hartley's

Washersaurus · 26/06/2009 22:41

Could you please find out how to get the last bit out of the bottom as I still have some in the fridge that we can't get at

LovelyRitaMeterMaid · 26/06/2009 22:42

Ours looks like strawberry

MamaG · 26/06/2009 22:43

I hate strawberry jam, except in a butty with cheese

FrannyandZooey · 26/06/2009 22:44

washersaurus apply your lips to the mess free nozzle and suck hard
you can thereafter transfer onto toast if you so wish, or simply swallow

OP posts:
FrannyandZooey · 26/06/2009 22:44

mamaG that is FILTHY

OP posts:
Washersaurus · 26/06/2009 22:45

Toast? Oh no, I purchased it to squeeze on to the DC's porridge
