Why does the remember me logged in not work?

Oh, oh, oh !

All BigTech can advise is shutting down, rebooting, logging on, clicking remember me, pottling around for a bit, then shutting down again - and seeing what happens when you reboot.

(Sounds a lot like 'switch it off and switch it on again' to me but I bow to his greater wisdom)

Its been happenening for a couple of days now, so I've already rebooted several times.

Can Tech fix this if it's a specific problem with the latest version of firefox?

To be honest, KnickKnack, it doesn't sounds like it's a problem caused by anything at our end.

Don't know if it helps or not, but I installed an updated version of Firefox this morning. It didn't "remember me" the first time I opened up Mumsnet but it seems to be doing so now.
