KnickKnack: are you still having this problem?

By the way, we have been releasing fixes to glitches (liking the rhyme!) over the past few weeks - and, after each release, you will find you need to log in again.

So that could explain things a bit.

HelenMumsnet · 09/05/2009 15:18

Oh dear, FabolousBakerGirl, that must be a pain.

Did you try clearing your cookies?

HelenMumsnet · 09/05/2009 16:00

What browser are you using? It it's Firefox I can help...

HelenMumsnet · 09/05/2009 17:52

Glad you'res sorted FabulousBakerGirl

Yes, stareyed: you do need to log in to search now.

KnickKnack and FAQ: Sorry that you're still having problems. If it's not resolved by the end of the weekend, do let us know and we'll see if Tech has any clever ideas...

FAQ, KnickKnack: are you still having problems with this?

CatherineMumsnet · 21/05/2009 23:23

We think it's a security thing, which tech actually says is good, however we can appreciate it's a tad annoying.
Tech might be a bit slow on the response over the BH weekend because he's been untied from his desk not in the office, but we'll drop him a line and nudge him in your direction.

HelenMumsnet · 30/06/2009 11:23

Oh dear, is this still happening for you KnickKnack?

Will have another chinwag with BigTech to see if he has any wizard solutions for you.

Oliviamumsnet · 20/07/2009 12:48

Oh Hurrah! We have been trying to get this fixed.

HelenMumsnet · 21/07/2009 18:04

Hooray!

Sorry it took so long.

HelenMumsnet · 04/08/2009 12:18

Oh dear.

Is it still happening today?

HelenMumsnet · 05/08/2009 15:48

Oh, oh, oh !

All BigTech can advise is shutting down, rebooting, logging on, clicking remember me, pottling around for a bit, then shutting down again - and seeing what happens when you reboot.

(Sounds a lot like 'switch it off and switch it on again' to me but I bow to his greater wisdom)

HelenMumsnet · 05/08/2009 22:22

To be honest, KnickKnack, it doesn't sounds like it's a problem caused by anything at our end.

Don't know if it helps or not, but I installed an updated version of Firefox this morning. It didn't "remember me" the first time I opened up Mumsnet but it seems to be doing so now.

Sigh - and sympathies
