Euro symbol

Is it possible to use a euro symbol on mumsnet?

On my keyboard its Alt Gr + 4 (ie theres a $ on top of the 4 and a euro symbol to the right of it). On mumsnet its appears as a euro in the message box, but appears as a ? on the thread.

I don't use EU so much now that we are in Switzerland, but it is a bit annoying that it does not work.

I pressed Alt Gr and the '4 key' on my laptop which has a Euro symbol on it.

It works in Preview mode but not Post mode.

Mine is Alt Gr and E (as it is a Swiss keyboard) but it still comes out as a ?

It just does not work.

I guess I could just emigrate to The Caribbean to solve my euro/mumsnet crisis
