Will there be a thread to discuss nominations, or will it all be secret through email?

It must be a hard task doing the judging.
It must be bloody harder than the Christmas appeal, so I dont envy you this task. A whole holiday stands to gain for one lucky winner, wow....

But, what criteria do you use to judge? If I were to put myself somebody forward, so to speak....

What I really would like to ask is:

I have no idea why i deserve this award tbh, there are far more worthy ladies then i.

I am just a Mum of 7, busy with all the usual stuff.

I am thrilled to have won and even more thrilled that i have made such lovely friends on here that thought i was special enough to be nominated

Just bringing up 7 children. Just. You see that in itself is amazing. I get it Tonic, I do, to you it's just normality and you can't see why it's so deserving of any extra praise or a lovely prize but you don't just bring up 7 astoundingly lovely and well-rounded children. It's the other stuff that would have had the best of us on our backs and sobbing for mercy. It's the sheer resolve you have to go on doing such a fabulous job in the face of everything that has been thrown at you recently. And on top of all of that, it's the support you always manage to offer to others. You don't know what effect you've had on many people on here and in RL. Your hand holding and support has been more important to me than I think you know. You're not just Mum of the Year imo, you're friend of the year too. I am beaming from ear to ear for you.

Anyway, you know I love you. I'm hormonal clearly.

I don't know what to say to that other than Thank you You are pretty fab yourself you know.

I told my parents about this yesterday and my in laws. My in laws are coming to London too.
