This Morning want a couple of Mumsnetters to appear with Carrie and Justine next week... anyone fancy it?

ITV's This Morning programme have invited me and Justine on to talk about the Toddlers book and want to also invite a couple of Mumsnetters to talk about how they got into Mumsnet and what Mumsnet means to them etc.

The date will probably be 4th or 5th Feb, they will need us between 9.30 and 12 and are prepared to pay travel expenses.

Anyone out there interested in snuggling up on the sofa? If you are, please put a bit of blurb about yourself here - how many children you have/how old, how you got into Mumsnet and what it means to you etc - so This Morning can decide who they might fancy inviting. If you do volunteer we may have to pass your email details on to This Morning, in case they want to chat to you, so shout now if you'd rather we didn't do that.

Kerry you seem like a dog with a bone about this. surely life is too short to stress about this still?
Does it really really matter if its a Mnoldie, as long as it is someone who posts in both places i don't think it really matters that much.
My understanding of it is that Mnoldies is in addition to MN, sorry if that seems to be a problem to some.
surely people are free to post where they like, i post on many many boards, is that not allowed? of course MN is still important to me as are my widow and autism sites and many others.
i think Yorkie Fio and cod would be good.

Yorkiegirl lost her DH whilst on holiday with their children to Portugal a few summers back. He was only 43 (I think ). She had lots of support, and gave an awful lot back, particularly with threads urging folks who are parents to get married if living in sin, arrange wills etc no matter how young, because of all the pitfalls that come with being a widow/losing a partner when you have children.

It gave me the push I needed to get married. I think Morningpaper made the jump on the pretext of it as well. There were plenty of others too, I'm sure.

FWIW, does it matter if a 'moldie' DOES go on, as long as they are still regularly using this site?

Some of them have been here years and are still posting a lot - better to have them than someone who joined a few months ago surely?
