This thread is a continuation of this one. That one had become too big for its own boots the system to handle.

OP posts:
ClausImWorthIt · 01/01/2009 23:37

And my frustration is when posts I have made, in response to others, are ignored - because they are clearly not about me, but are specifically about other MNetters.

NotanOtter · 01/01/2009 23:37

thankyou sopabox

To be frank that faux pas of mine ( if it was) highlights all that is wrong with this damn moldies business

i am losing friends over this and it's not nice

TWINSETinapeartree · 01/01/2009 23:38

My lovenote said
"enjoy your cheese my little mumsnetting viper"

BALD · 01/01/2009 23:38

this is the page with the Peachy edit

I have no idea how to find out the ISP thingy of who posted it, far beyond my capabilities

Heathcliffscathy · 01/01/2009 23:38

winces for nao

OyeComoVa · 01/01/2009 23:38

you are all too quick for me,

can i ask...

LAPIN?

where is she?

we have talked about XYZ flouncing for a week now,

LAPIN was 'shirty' in her last response to the MNHQ post,

but she may have been pissed off/fed up, right/wrong, hormonal/tired like the rest of us,

if you are here LL and you see this,

say hello

LedodgyChristmasjumper · 01/01/2009 23:38

I was on the other thread before it got pulled and Peachy said she wrote that bit about herself as a joke but only the bit about herself before anyone misinterprets this. See how quickly things get twisted? I can't see this is doing anyone any good.

NotanOtter · 01/01/2009 23:39

thanks sophable !

Oh what a splendid idea, SmilleysPeople, then everyone else can all continue bitching and whining whilst the Moldies are confined to a ghetto hmm

Does this not seem a little.. irarnic?

GAAAAAh.

Moldies: secret site that none of the rest of us can see what's being said.

This thread: some few posters have suggested this be a venting thread, but with a general desire to move forward. In this vision of the world, you might, if you are genuine in your desire to smoothe things, have to swallow a teeny bit of nastiness, given as how you started a secret site and all, but eventually, IF YOU STOP INFLAMING THINGS, we'll all get bored with it and we'll all love each other again.

MN: open site where you can do whatever you want.

Quattrocento · 01/01/2009 23:39

Okay so the IP address that posted that stuff about Rhubarb and Custy is 86.4.182.189 and this can be seen from the Wiki history.

If the IP identity is that of a mumsnetter, would it be possible for MN to communicate with the poster to ask them not to post stuff like that about other Mumsnetters?

WilfSell · 01/01/2009 23:39

What BIWI said. This is really really sad now. Hurt has happened. A bit of dignified withdrawal on all parts, followed by some light hearted common-ground finding might help.

Insistent truth telling, while it might be 'true', is not going to rebuild relationships.

IMHO.

ClausImWorthIt · 01/01/2009 23:39

I sometimes wonder if my posts come up in white ink on a white screen.

Aitch · 01/01/2009 23:39

och that's bollocks, smileys, i think you're stirring it tbh. who here has come on and just posted 'oh get over it'?

Monkeytrousers · 01/01/2009 23:40

Thing is, does anyone watch the Commons debate's and say, what a load of petty bitches? No.

This is democracy in action. It;s freedom of expression in action. Any reporter who looks that these discussions and thinks it's a sad or shameful event for women is a fucking idiot.

Yes, women bicker. They are distingusihed from men in disagreements in limiting themselves to debate, as opposed to deadly conflict, the essence of our political and social culture. Viva MN!

DaddyJ · 01/01/2009 23:40

Soph, YES! Next Thursday, same place.
I will be there from 9pm.
Come and dance for an hour, go home at 10 -
we will line up all the good guys for you!

controlfreakyhohohohohohoho · 01/01/2009 23:41

obm.. how did my name creep into that cut and paste job?

Heathcliffscathy · 01/01/2009 23:41

[clears throat]

i have a suggestion.

lets ALL go over to the israel/palestine thread.

we can really let rip there over something that doesn't matter...whoops...that's wrong isn't it?
