Downtime tonight (Thurs 25th) - 10.30pm - New Server coming hooray

Hello all,

Mumsnet will be down tonight from 10.30pm (not 10.00 pm as previously advertised) while YetMoreTech and BigTech fiddle in the shed to get our shiny new server up and running. Many apologies for the inconvenience but hopefully it will mean the end to the night-time go-slows you've all been heroically enduring.

(Fingers crossed they don't break it!)

The clock on one of the servers was wrong for a short while. A few people managed to post during that time. Nothing too spooky really!

for all we know, you could have indeed created a black hole and twisted us about and then thrown us out again.

either that, or you switched it on after eating all your pizza and then realised that you stuck some pepperoni in the oojimmywhatsit and that made the time shift possible......
