Hi Mumsnet, though you should know that a trans identified man - who often posts on Mumsnet as @aidap - is scraping the feminimism board, in order to create some sort of grading system.

It's basically electronic stalking.

Oh yes, I have downloaded most of mumsnet and we will be doing embeddings of the content to try to understand how does the rot and hate builds and spreads.

It's true that banning him will not stop him scraping the site but I think allowing him to continue posting, expecting FWR posters to put up with his continued presence when everyone knows what he's doing and what he's saying about us elsewhere, is really unfair.

I don't see much difference between on the one hand, posting on bluesky about raping women with a splintery rolling pin then posting here, linking to bluesky and saying 'I wrote that', and on the other hand, just posting here about raping women with a splintery rolling pin. It's the same abusive post, just with an extra step.

From the look of OP's posts, AidaP is a mentally unwell Mumsnet user who is doing something weird with other people's posts and should almost certainly be banned.
Nothing particularly controversial there.
But to extrapolate AidaP's behaviour to the wider trans community is bigoted and nonsensical hysteria. AidaP does not represent trans people as a whole and their behaviour cannot be used to support arguments about trans matters.
Therefore bland statements such as 'and that's why we need our safe spaces' are meaningless in this context.
It would be lovely if any debate about trans people were reasoned and fair. This post is just another opportunity for people to spew hate.

I spent a great deal of time immersed in social circles full of trans-identifying men, during a horrific period of my life where I was gaslit and traumatised by someone who thrust our lives into that space. I can tell you with no exaggeration that the level of fetishisation is not exaggerated, and that the amount of sexualisation of women (and the number of times I heard conversations about "panties" PUKE) was staggering.

Yes. But somehow I doubt he works. He seems to be on the internet all day/night. I have found by observation and their own admission that the vast majority of transwomen are unemployed. There is one who was an initial candidate for the Greens, despite claiming he is too disabled to get a job. He spends his days hanging in public spaces trying to start pro-trans/anti-women rallies. When he's not doing that, he's writing letters to politicians/companies every day and suing feminists. Also travels for cosmetic surgery. And is involved in a 'polycule'. But somehow, is prevented from even looking for work due to a 'disability'.

You could say the same about any specific abusive man - none of them represent men as a whole. We keep them all out.
