Trans identified Mumsnet member AidaP is scraping Mumsnet

BambooLampshade · 28/04/2026 21:34

Hi Mumsnet, though you should know that a trans identified man - who often posts on Mumsnet as @aidap - is scraping the feminimism board, in order to create some sort of grading system.

It's basically electronic stalking.

What is this?

Oh yes, I have downloaded most of mumsnet and we will be doing embeddings of the content to try to understand how does the rot and hate builds and spreads.

I never had so much hate and delusion on my hard drive before 😅

Completely agree. I understand that there is genuine concern about protection of women’s spaces but I’ve seen so many posts suggesting that trans women are doing it as some kind of fetish or to get access to be able to harm other women - it’s cruel bullying and I can’t believe it’s allowed.

It isn’t cruel bullying, it’s description of a problem.

Some of them are doing it as a fetish or to get access to harm women (perhaps not ‘true trans’, but how could we tell).
Whatever their motives they wedge the door open for those who do want to harm women.
Just being there, regardless of motive, harms women and some are more vulnerable than others to those harms.

Have they got a cock?
If they’ve gone to the commitment of chopping their cock off, I’ll entertain listening to them
If you’ve still got it, you’re a bloke in a dress, usually one that fits badly
With big hands

Sarah Baker castrated himself in prison. Claims he ate his own testicles. Which side of the line does he go on?

How do you know whether a man has a cock when you see him entering a women's space?

Around 90% of transwomen keep their penis

Did he only eat his testicles? Or was he completely without male genitalia?

They can get a Gender recognition certificate allowing them to get a birth certificate stating the wrong sex without having any surgery or taking hormones

Trigger warning, sexual violence.

Interestingly, one of the reasons we don’t medicate rapists and pedophiles to reduce the risk of reoffending, is that when they can’t get an erection they don’t stop, they use objects. Like bottles.

So whether they have one or not doesn’t impact their dangerousness. Also, when a traumatised woman is avoiding being in confined spaces with men, she doesn’t check their clothes or groin before the panic rises. Male bodied people feel threatening to women regardless of what’s under their kilt.

This site is full of hate for trans people. I've not seen the level of hate I see here anywhere else. The amount of comments I've seen saying that trans people are doing it as some sort of sexual fetish or as a way to perv on and abuse women is disgusting. That kind of stereotyping of any other minority group would be quickly shut down.
I won't be replying to any comments. I've learned from experience that any support for the trans community on the site leads to a pile on from people who are not interested in actual debate, they are too fixed in their views. Some with concerns they feel strongly about due to fear enticed by others. Some who are nothing but nasty bullies who have found a place where they can put down a whole community and not only get away with it, but be supported with it.

Stop hanging about women's spaces, then.

Isn't this thread feeding into the drama? If everyone just ignore the OP wouldn't it all just die a death?

also has anyone actually met the OP in real life? Everyone is making a lot of assumptions about who they are, their motives etc. back to the point above, they could be enjoying winding everyone up and in fact they're a time waster who enjoys the attention. A woman can do all this just as effectively as a trans woman.

there are a LOT of weird people out there.

Scraping Mumsnet

an obtuse term which probably equates to them building an Excel spreadsheet or Word document and uploading it to ChatGPT, Claude, asking AI weird questions. I mean it really isn't rocket science. Life goes on, nobody died and they're still bloody weird.

just another perspective to offer.

No image attached to the post at all. There was one attached to your post, but what does that have to do with @JLou08?

So you are relying on their trousers as evidence?

What if they have a skirt on?

I've bad news for you MN readers. The various LLMs have probably already scraped the site to death.

I don't understand the logic here. What's the fear? that your views will be scrutinised? That someone disagrees with you?

As a woman, I avoid women’s spaces myself not particularly any more concerned by the ones in a badly fitting dress with big hands than I am presenting as a normal man. They’re all to be treated with caution.
The only time I’ve ever encountered a problematic person in women’s spaces, it was a woman
Personally, I just hold it in and use the toilet at home but I obviously see how that this butterflies out to Hospital’s prisons, etc

PurpleNightingale · Yesterday 08:52

I don't really understand what the scraping stuff is and they sound like a horrible individual. But you are seeming awfully confident they are male- why? Trolls could be anyone.

When I was a teen (pre mobiles) we were receiving hang up breathy phone calls on our landline over a few months and my Dad eventually called the police. He'd expected it to be a man but it was a nearly 18 year old girl from one of my sisters A level courses she'd barely ever spoken to.

If they are on here to make trouble I wouldn't believe anything they are saying. Chat GPT no doubt can create realistic fake coding for them if they are trying to scare you.

I'd just ignore them- you are giving them the attention they are after.

So you leave home at 9am and are not due back until 5pm, and you need the loo at 10am, you'd hold it in until you got home?

Crikey.

I’ve managed before
If you don’t guzzle bottles of wine generally it’s not a problematic
As i very clearly stated, obviously that doesn’t resolve the issue holding our piss in

I do find there are other clues in those scenarios saying this I think I’ve only ever met like three of them in my entire life
And 2 out of the three would’ve been 25 years ago
It’s not like they’re on every street corner is it?

That's true enough and very controversial that LLMs (large language models) have already scraped the entirety of the WWW, including MN, including concepts that hold IP and for which no permission was sought etc.

the OPs mentality if they have one, is that they want their own dataset just for this specific board on MN and somehow that they will get more focused and accurate responses to their weird questions to prove what exactly and to what end exactly, who knows.

for the sake of one's mental health, the most empowering thing to do is step away and not get sucked into the drama. Unless it's something people are choosing to .....
