Intrusive adverts

I'm having trouble with adverts covering most of the page on MN. If I click on the cross to close them down, it opens a full page of adverts instead. Eventually it minimises to a small moving advert at the bottom of the page, but that covers the MN buttons. It's various adverts, not just one. We're in France, and they are French ads, not sure if that means you can't do anything about it?

Thanks Jo, will try. Sods law it's gone forever! There are several different ads, one is for a charity, but they all behave in this way.

@Letthemeatgateau aha, the French charity ones have hopefully been blocked by now - we posted on this thread recently - https://www.mumsnet.com/talk/site_stuff/5456092-new-ad-hell

Just had a ad pop up at the bottom of the screen covering the watching, my feed and I’m on button, scrolling in French and then it came up and covered...

Hi there @Letthemeatgateau. We've added some more blocks to this one so hopefully it's appearing less at least, but we're continuing to look into it as clearly the blocks aren't having the desired effect.
