Anyone else getting a recurrence of the constant freezing, crashing, pages not loading that was happening a while back?

It’s really bad. I have to keep shutting down and restarting my IPad.

I'm on an Android phone using Chrome browser and can't use it now as it freezes my phone.
I really liked it and miss being able to use it.

Despite numerous posts about the various problems MN has not addressed them. I've just given up.

i have 2 laptops, i use Edge browser on both.

The difference between the two machines being one has a much better processor/graphics card.. its a 'gaming' laptop designed for 3D graphics rendering, and the other is a bog standard office work horse that just about manages to run sims if i wanted to play.

MN is currently crashing my workhorse machine, freezing the screen to the point that i have to force shutdown and restart.

I’ve been posting on MN for 20 years and I’ve NEVER known it as bad as this. I can’t get threads to load beyond the first couple of posts.

I have tried everything.

I didn’t think I would stop using MN due to basic functionality not working, but there you go.

Is anyone else still finding this? Mumsnet is barely useable for me at the moment. Using safari on iPhone. I can just about open a link occasionally, but then the thread just freezes so I can’t scroll down or select any links on the page. I have to swipe safari away multiple times just to read even the first post. It’s so frustrating!

I've given up on Safari and gone to Google. I use the normal page, not the app or anything.

I’m on IPhone and it’s awful again

I did the same a couple of weeks ago and it’s worked well.

I’ve resolved it, but purely by buying a new ipad (not just because of Mumsnet!). I think older machines just don’t have the processing speed to cope with all the ads.

It is utterly dreadful, constantly crashing and reloading, pages not loading or only partly loading, it’s never been addressed by HQ, feel like giving up on this site.

It’s still playing up and phone is getting hot
