Anyone else getting a recurrence of the constant freezing, crashing, pages not loading that was happening a while back?

It’s really bad. I have to keep shutting down and restarting my IPad.

Same, safari on iphone. Just in the last couple of days. One long advertisement of grey blankness stops me seeing the rest of the thread. I’m surprised I could comment on this.
It stops me coming on the site as it’s so frustrating.

I cleared my browsing history and that seems to have helped.

• I clear the cache regularly, maybe evety 2-3 days. It helps for a little while but reverts more and more quickly. No other websites that I visit cause this problem.

Same as others. Clear cache, works for a short time.

Yes, I’ll revise this to say that I cleared browsing data yesterday and performance does seem a bit better. I’ll report back if it deteriorates again

Yes, same here. In fact I began my reply to this thread about 15 minutes ago but my phone became too hot and the whole app froze yet again. So I’ve waited for the phone to cool down again (which it did quickly after closing Mumsnet’s app!) Something isn’t right though since this keeps happening and is clearly happening for others too.
Too many ads and pop ups maybe? Hope it is sorted soon as it’s so hard to use Mumsnet at the moment.

i don’t know how to see how many posts I’m viewing per page as it’s the app and doesn’t seem to say (unless I’m missing it somewhere). Yes cleared cache still happening.

This is getting beyond tedious now. Not only does MN not work half the time on my iPhone, but when that happens it affects everything else on Safari as well, and I can’t open anything else, either a new tab or an existing tab.

Same for me (but on iPad). We’ve been reporting these problems for weeks now, but there seems to be no progress on it being fixed. Very bad show.

I cleared my browsing data from my phone on Tuesday (thus temporary locking myself out of MN until I figured out my password). Performance improved massively, but it is starting to get sticky again now

I've been having all these same problems on my iPhone, and it's getting even worse, with only Active loading and only a few threads at a time. Today it's been imposdible to use, with threads not opening beyond the first two or posts.

iPad is little better but very slow. At least it's not getting hot.

I’m having this problem too - iPhone app glitching (jerky scrolling, then freezing, needing to restart app and then it not restarting). My phone is also getting really hot and according to the stats Mumsnet used 38% of my battery in 30 mins. Using the latest app version etc.

I'm getting this now as well. Interestingly, I still didn't see adverts on mn until only about a month ago. I could still browse ad free until relatively recently. This freezing seems to be linked to when, annoyingly, the ads started to show.

No it's not just happening on iPads.ive had it happening on my phone for about a week, will be reading then blank it crashes several times a night.

I can now only use Chrome for Mumsnet. Constant freezing on Safari. This is on a mac. On my iphone, only the app works.

Just to say I cleared my browsing history last Tuesday and performance improved massively, although the site still destroys my phone battery

however, performance is back to being poor again (having to close and reopen safari to get blank screens moving again etc)

I use the mobile version, not the app, on an Android phone using Chrome. I would try DuckDuckGo but I've forgotten my login details for mn.

I've been having this problem for at least a month on desktop using firefox. Cleared browsing history and other usual suspects and still having the same issues
