Do you find it weird when you are addressed by you Mumsnet name?

I'm not actally Lynette, except on MN, and find it really weird when people address me as Lynette.

Do you mean in RL as obviously no-one would know your real name on mumsnet. I do not know anyone else who posts on here.

I've tried to get my friend to join as she needs advice with her lo. Then again I like the anominity of it so I would have to name change often if I knew RL people that are on here.

ever tried googling your MN handle?? "Pan" has more than a couple of results.

Your MN name is Mars.

If your MN name was talullahberryflatulatingflangebucket and I called you Mars, then you'd be right. But, you are Mars on MN, and Mars in RL.

If you were tallulahberryflatulatingflangebucket on here, I'd call you tally, or flangebucket or somesuch in RL instead.......

In fact, I may just call you flangebucket from now on anyway......
