Gotta be quick as I am waiting for the race to start...

Talk roundup:
www.mumsnet.com/talkround/roundup.html

In case you missed it:
www.mumsnet.com/incase/pn1.html

The two most common reasons for not receiving it are it being marked as spam (check your spam folder and if it is there try adding mumsnet.com as an accepted sender) or there not being one that particular week (e.g. there was no talk roundup this week).

ChocolateRockingHorse · 05/04/2008 16:10

But.. but... those aren't even links.. and you're a tech!! Sorry.. but

SquonkIsNoTechButCanDoLinks · 05/04/2008 16:13

So... those links:

the newsletter

the talk round up

ChocolateRockingHorse · 05/04/2008 16:14

Indeed

fryalot · 05/04/2008 16:15

CRH---- click on the un-technical linky not quite link things.... it links you to the page!!!!

ChocolateRockingHorse · 05/04/2008 16:16

Ah so it does. How odd, they didn't even look like links just now!

ChocolateRockingHorse · 05/04/2008 16:17

Hangs with her

And

fryalot · 05/04/2008 16:19

tis obviously a relly technical way of doing links that us common oiks aren't allowed to know.

(I noticed because after I did the links that look like links, techy's were purple!)

Come on, YMTech, tell us how you did them to look like they weren't links.

(and who won the race, we're watching the Tweenies )

OP posts:
ChocolateRockingHorse · 05/04/2008 16:21

Nobody yet/#.

Not mine for sure; one's an "early casualty"

No mention of the other, Baily Breeze!

YetMoreTech · 05/04/2008 16:27

Comply or Die. One of mine but alas, at 7:1 not a big winner.

JaneMumsnet · 05/04/2008 16:33

squonk - if you stick a message in after your link, it looks like this but if you just put the link between the brackets, it looks like this: www.mumsnet.com

fryalot · 05/04/2008 16:38

I know that, but YMTech's links looked like this:

http/www.mumsnet.com

you see?

OP posts:
fryalot · 05/04/2008 16:38

but when we clicked on it, it went purple...

(but clicking on it was an accident, it didn't look like a link)

OP posts:
JaneMumsnet · 05/04/2008 16:40

yes, www.mumsnet.com - that's the FULL path. It went purple because you had visited the page - purple indicates a visited link.
