Is there anywhere on the site where we can read them?

pleeeeeeeease?

Or could you just fix it?

Ooh, OK, how's he done that!

fryalot · 05/04/2008 16:41

but before I click on yours, it looks blue.

After I click on it, it looks purple.

But YMTech's looked black. Just like the rest of the words...

fryalot · 05/04/2008 16:41

that's what we want to know

RustyBear · 05/04/2008 16:42

It looked like a link to me, but if you go to Tools-internet options- Advanced & scroll down you can set links not to be underlined.

See, I haven't been initiated into ALL the techy secrets

fryalot · 05/04/2008 16:43

aaaah! rusty

OP posts:
RustyBear · 05/04/2008 16:43

Can't you set the colour of links? - I remember you could back in the old days when I was creating websites with Page Mill.

RustyBear · 05/04/2008 16:46

btw the bit about setting internet options affects how you see them, but I think the person creating the page may have options to change the way they look - it's also customisable in your own MN settings

fryalot · 05/04/2008 16:47

yeah, I knew about customising my own MN settings, I've got them blue and purple (but I prefer to call them red ) because that's the way I prefer them...

OP posts:
RustyBear · 05/04/2008 16:48

Having changed my settings to remove the underlining I just went back to active convos and aaaarrrgghhh!!! - it's all weird!!!!!!

fryalot · 05/04/2008 16:48

and... when I clicked on YMTech's link that didn't look like a link, it changed THIS page to what he was linking to, rather than opening a new page which normally happens.

That's when it's set to open in the same window not a new window - that could be you, or it could be YetMoreTech is operating differently from the rest of the MN lot.....

tharsheblows · 05/04/2008 16:50

He's a tech, he edited his message in a way that mere mortals cannot. Think there was probably some "argh, they're supposed to open in a new window" and re-editing happening as well.

fryalot · 05/04/2008 16:51

I think it's YMTech... I've never had it before.

And CRH obviously thought the same as me too. She started it, she started it

Mins sometimes comes and sometimes doesn't

Peachy · 05/04/2008 17:46

Mine just doesn't come any more either, and i'm not on hotmail or anything like that

YetMoreTech · 05/04/2008 21:21

Peachy, you do not use Hotmail, but your provider routes all your mail through Yahoo.

The last "in case you missed it" newsletter was was delivered to your provider's mail server at 2008-04-03 15:03:25. The last talk roundup that was sent was delivered at 2008-03-28 15:12:27. We can't see what happens to it after that, i.e whether they delete it, deliver it, put it in a special folder or whatever.

Pistachio, much the same story with yours - the last talk roundup was delivered to your provider's server at 2008-03-28 15:28:28.

Peachy · 06/04/2008 08:28

All I know is they don't turn up here any more!
