Is it just me or do the ads really slow this site down?

When I go to click I often get messages like

transferring from ad.adviva.net
and the like

It's REALLY slow, other sites aren't, is it me or mumsnet?

Am I the only one getting lots of errors tonight? Ads are rarely loading at all. Get a box in place of where the ads should be saying:
The connection has timed out
The server at view.atdmt.com is taking too long to respond.

Occurring site wide... so hard to isolate the problem.

Good to know it's not just me. Interesting that others are not finding it an issue at all. Perhaps it's a Network Routing fault, thus only affecting some ISP's.

have been watching this thread for a few weeks since I posted about slow ads. Geekboy said then "definitely not the ads" but then posts about slow ads on 1st April??? Have you changed your mind??

This never used to be an issue. Do you still want occurrences posted YMT?
