You know... "I have 6 children by 7 different fathers but we never eat UPF or carbs because of course anyone can easily avoid those foods. I go to the gym 2 hours a day and I do housework for 4 hours a day because anything less is being a slattern. I'm a size 8 at 5'2" and I weigh 90 kg which just goes to show that BMI is rubbish." (etc)

Just me? Anyone else finding the troll determination to see what outrageous things they can say and get away with, increasingly entertaining? It's like their own art form.

Anything about dogs also seems to descend into a fight immediately. People saying all dogs are ravening kill-beasts who should all be rounded up into dog parks, and kept away from humans at all times, and others saying they should be allowed to sit on train seats on busy routes. I’m avoiding dog threads from now on!

I'm actually quite heavy for my size (6/8) and weight 67kg at 1.59

That sounds dreadful @TiredOfCleaning there do seem to a lot of users with disordered eating on MN. It gets a bit pro-ana at times.

poster A: I am on a 365cals a day diet and not losing much
poster B: That doesn't sound very healthy, there are better ways to lose weight
poster A: I've done this diet 17 times before and lost over 5 stone each time, I know what I am doing
poster B: That doesn't sound very healthy, a trip to GP maybe
poster C: How can you expect to lose weight on that much food, that is more than my maintenance allowance. Try 256cals all eaten within a 27min window.

And a recent outbreak of TL;DR monologues from supposed "behold a man" posters. Why they think we'd be interested in such a screed I don't know.

I love all the 'My kids are still eating the chocolate selection box they had for Xmas in 2018'

Or the ones where it’s 2 days after Xmas/Easter and they’re asking what they can possibly do with all the ‘leftover’ chocolate. It’s not left over, it just hasn’t been eaten yet, how about you give people a chance to eat it? 🤣

I’ve just melted the “leftover” Easter eggs into a chocolate cake.

Poster D : Are you sure you're not neuro diverse?

I have missed the water-troll posts lately, they're always entertaining

@TiredOfCleaning

Oh that sounds awful! That’s not the kind of thread I enjoy at all, I find all the sneering ‘you know fruit is just pure sugar’ really nasty and dangerous.

The ones I like/hate/car crash watch are more the ones of ‘what do you eat in a day’ or ‘how much do you weigh’ type of thing. Where posters are just being ridiculous or lying or exaggerating.
