Was just about to say don't bloody bother it made fuck all difference and the ads are worse than ever after clearing everything. It's a cop-out of a response.

I mean I get it's tricky running such a site but when the site cannot be used to do the very thing it's meant to be used for then surely you'd prioritise fixing it.

After coming on a similar thread I think a year ago I downloaded a free ad blocker and that solved most of it for me (touch wood). I still see the direct marketing of MN but more manageable.

Same here, it's multiple ads.

It's to do with how mumsnet have set things up and they obviously CBA to fix it.

I've cleared my cache. Hasn't worked. I'm getting multiple ads. Will be going off MN if this carries on as with my phone keyboard and the ad there's no room and I can't see what I'm writing. Super annoying.

Same here, it’s extremely irritating. Not just random ads, but all sorts , even on the active convo list.

Am getting it too. Am pretty good at mentally filtering out crap I don’t need to know so I wouldn’t actually be able to tell you what the ads are for (which kind of defeats the purpose).

It’s loads of different ads. But yes, shit does indeed happen.

Just started today for me, Futon company this time.

Unfortunately Mumsnet wins 'worst site ever' for rogue ads regularly ruining the ability to use the site.

Feels like a new one every month :/

This is definitely worse today. I have the same Holzkern ad as yesterday, but now it’s on every damn thread I click on! They’re lovely watches, but I have no intention of buying one. Even more bizarrely, it seems like only a part of the ad is displaying, as huge as it is
