And it’s not possible to find the close button cos it goes off the screen

Knew there would be a thread about this. I've got this ad appearing at the moment. If I scroll the thread moves from side to side over the ad. It's really horrible to try to read.

Maybe it's all a sham to get us to sign up to premium? Wouldn't surprise me.

I pay for premium - it doesn't stop you seeing a bajillion ads....

WTF is going on? I've got ads covering the whole page when I click on a new thread. It is making Mumsnet unusable for me.
Except on this page - no massive ads on this page.

No longer got the Mercedes ad, now got 'Award winning cat and dog'
No idea what the ad is actually for as it just blocks my screen and I can't scroll across.
But I can only assume that MANYPETS.COM are utter shite, since their adverts are breaking Mumsnet.
Seriously @LilyMumsnet could MN get a grip and sort this crap out please.

For me, the ads cycle at the top - Audible and Nike are fine - normal banner size - then it chia goes to La Redoute and BAM takes up the whole screen with mostly just white space!!

Still getting the massive adverts, and combine this with the adverts in the thread that have got even bigger and it is unreadable.

I don't use an ad blocker to support MN but MN needs to make sure adverts aren't the main focus.

Dont it doesn't fucking work and if anything all its done is make the whole thing worse. Before the ad appeared roughly every 10 threads now it's literally every other thread.

I just came over here to start a thread on this but found you all beat me to it.
I gave up scrolling through Active this morning as there was an advert for a bathroom cabinet covering 2/5ths of the page, leaving me only able to see 3 posts at a time. Clearly a personalised ad for me as I bought this unit 3 weeks ago. No option to close it as the X was not visible.
I'm on Samsung smart phone but accessing through Chrome.

Came here similarly as just started getting them this morning.

Mine was a big ebay car ad (not Mercedes sadly!) Which covered half my screen. Android phone. Really does make it unreadable. Plus combined with the large ads in the thread too its a lot of scrolling through ads.

Someone mentioned the promoted by mumsnet masquerading as threads too - that's also driving me nuts.

Very close to finally giving up on mumsnet and I'm a regular user.

Um, mumsnet team, I'm very disappointed you've not sorted this yet. It's not a difficult one. I'm not clearing anything on my phone, as my phone isn't the issue, the code on your website is.
