Quoting cuts off comments

Just noticed that using the quote function means that your comment (as well as part of the quoted comment), is cut off - so it just looks as though you quoted the comment but made no reply. I've seen it on other threads today and assumed people had pressed the quote function by accident but it's definitely a thing!

@Octoberfishing rapidly approaching a month since I started this thread and I'm sure I wasn't the first.

It's really really annoying now when trying to read a thread. Sort it out MN.

Today I noticed that I can see the full comments when using a browser. It only happens on the app.

It's madness that this is STILL an issue. It's been over a month and still no fix. The app is pretty much useless at the moment 😡

This is really getting out of hand. If your tech team can't address this the please find some outside help. It's making the app really difficult to use

Now it's cutting off the comments I have written. I hope you're not paying too much for this terrible development MN. 🤦🏻‍♀️

It's awful. I hate using the web browser on my phone as it's just no use either.

The app should work properly by now.

This seems crazy that three weeks ago you were looking into it as a priority and now you can't recreate it?!

That said, I have just manually updated the app and (fingers crossed) it seems better.

I thought iPhones automatically updated apps?

Ok. Looked at my updates and you released an update just today that mentions fixes including to quotes. I've done that and see how we fare.

But as that was only released today it would have been nice to be told it was coming.

Ok. The update seems to have fixed it and I've checked back on an old thread I know I was missing content on and can see it now.

Yep. The update issued apparently 3 hours ago seems to have fixed it.

Sincere apologies, folks - the fix was released this morning and we should have been clearer in our comms.

So just to reiterate - if you update the app today it should fix the quoting issue on the app.
