Blank lines at the top of every page

It’s been like this since the update (which generally I prefer) and I assumed it would be sorted. It hasn’t , so I wondered if anyone else sees this on every page?

Same for me, occasionally they are filled but it is only promoted posts/MN recommended so you are not missing anything

Can we just check - is everyone experiencing blank spaces using ad blocker?

No ad blocker here
and still several blank lines

Adblocker on iPad - blank lines (Safari)

No adblocker on phone (and lots of wasted data due to unstoppable, annoying ads) - blank lines (Google Chrome)

So it’s the same regardless.

We think we may have solved this - can you clear your cache and take a look?

I always assumed it was my ad blocker, and was relieved that the sticky threads were being accurately recognised as adverts.

I have the same. Just done a Chrome "Empty cache and hard reload" and the blank lines are still there.

Afraid it hasn’t worked and I've just lost all my tabs 😅

Same for me. I always think the page hasn't loaded properly. MN said they fixed it ages ago but it's always been this way for me

It's the "promoted by MN" threads that seem to take slightly longer to load than the other threads.

MN said they fixed this for me a while ago. And they did for a few days. Then they disappeared again!

The site is like it was straight after the upgrade; the blank lines are there again but they do populate after a few seconds but the most utterly infuriating issue that has never gone away and is just getting worse over the last week or so is the being unable to reload the page without waiting minutes and bashing the screen like a mad woman each time I go onto the site that absolutely does my head in. And frequently the See Next/See All links for OPs posts are completely non-reactive. I don't want to have to clear the cache each time I use the site and no other website gives me any grief.

(Up to date Android phone using Chrome mobile site).
