Getting really p'd off with bookmarks not working/working sporadically

Not sure if this will help @SueMumsnet but on threads that have been started recently, most of my bookmarks are holding. However, any thread that was started before the update or within a few days of it, bookmarks are still rolling back each time thread is opened (driving me mad!) even if placed later.

Using App on iPhone with latest iOS.

Ok the devs tell me that they've just rolled out an update which should mean that if you bookmark a new post in a thread it should hold now. Do let me know here if that hasn't happened for you.

Not working for me Sad

I’m on a long-running thread (going before the update) which keeps returning me to the same point every single time I refresh - roughly the point where I last posted (not exactly, but a few posts further on). I specifically bookmarked the last post in the thread but it simply will not return me to that point.

I've just unbookmarked and re-bookmarked to test it, and it still doesn’t work.

OK, it didn’t. Worked for about two seconds, then straight back to not working.

None of my bookmarks work at all now. Completely pointless and I can’t find my place on any threads. There’s no rhyme or reason as to why it opens at a particular place, it just gets stuck at a certain point and then keeps opening there whatever I do, ignoring all later bookmarks.

This is REALLY bad

The bookmarks are ok now. But the number highlighted on the app, telling me there are new posts , when there are not, is very annoying.

Notifications of new posts in watched threads still bring me back to the first post in each thread too. This is awful and I think using any sort of off-the-shelf forum software would have been better.

Most of my bookmarks are holding, but there is one thread in particular (the Ukraine one in chat) that keeps taking me back to my last bookmark & not my most recent. Even though it's a new thread now, it's still happening.

I bookmarked each post as I scroll down reading. The longest on this thread was 4 seconds. Mostly one second. Yet I have been on another thread on site stuff and it took 28 seconds.

Obviously same phone, same operating system (chrome)

I have been on both threads before.
I have clicked on this thread from site stuff board immediately before bookmarking.

And incidentally it took15 seconds to post completely o the 28 second to bookmark thread but this thread posted much quicker. No more than five seconds. Are they linked?
