MN team, I can see you are hard at work fixing glitches as a lot of the problems from yesterday seem to be improving (I no longer have the black box over my PMs, or the empty lines at the top of each page, for instance). Thank you for your hard work!

A few that still appear for me, for your reference:

• On all platforms, Trending and Active are still not working properly, full of zombie threads and not updating
• On Chrome on my laptop, I have tried to post this thread multiple times and got a “checking your browser, captcha” box pop up on the screen and then a 403 error box over the whole screen and have lost this post multiple times…
• On Chrome on my laptop, some long links are not wrapping in posts and extend out to the right beyond the edge of the post (see for instance post by @ButtonMoonLoon on this thread: www.mumsnet.com/talk/site_stuff/4534587-was-anyone-on-here-a-tester-for-this-awful-new-site
• On Chrome on my laptop, when you flip a thread, it leaves the OP at the top (this doesn't happen on the iOS app, where the most recent post is at the top)
• On the iOS app, when you filter by OP and then click the link to go to one of their posts it always takes you to their first post, even if you're selecting one from later down the thread
• On the iOS app, old threads have a lot of html showing around where emojis used to be, and line breaks are showing as <br>
• On the iOS app, the apple emojis are the right size but the MN emojis are squashed, they’re the right width but about 2/3 the hight they should be
• On the iOS app, posts that have a quote in them are all run together between the quote and the first paragraph of the post. I think a line break is missing between the quoted part and where the post starts. I found an issue - the 'done' button doesn't work, so if you start writing a post and change your mind you can't go back without posting it.

I'm using Safari on a Mac Book and finding it very clunky and time consuming to navigate around the site.
There are no clickable links such as ACTIVE or I'M ON at the top of the page, only a button that opens a drop down menu with various options. So obviously it is slow to move from one board to another.

Any advice would be very welcome!

I have exactly the same problem with that thread! It's very frustrating!

On my laptop ctrl and return used to post a thread or reply I was writing.

I think I'm in the same club as mermaideyes and mummabubs. Can't post on the app, or on Safari on my macbook. Have had to open Chrome to post this. V annoying.

has been showing 'not accepting new posts' ever since it got to 1000 posts (as normal). But it seems some people can still post on it as it's now at 1004 posts.
Either:

Threads can now exceed 1000 posts but it's not allowing everyone to go over

or

Threads are still limited to 1000 posts but an error is allowing some people to override this.

Another issue. Right on the edge of cancelling premium and doing a proper hair-tossing flounce. Shall attempt patience...

Anyway: iPad ap, re-installed this evening to no avail:

• responses to a search show the same five thread titles over and over as you scroll down
• bookmarks still aren't working properly, they don't hold when you leave a thread and return
• "that" parking thread seems to crash the ap as it kicks me out every time I try to read it

I've had another intermittent issue - the site being weirdly wide and then when you scroll down it kept trying to ping off the side.

It was last night but I forgot to post about it.

I think there's also a bug in the form of if you click the arrow next to a particular post on the "I'm watching" section it still takes you to your bookmark. Presumably if I've clicked an arrow rather than the thread name it's because I wanted a particular post rather than the thread so it would be good to fix that.

I'd also really like it to show posts since you watched it (I used to use bump and reset) but recognise that might be an active decision rather than a bug even if it's not a decision I like.

PS - Android, Chrome, mobile.

I don't think any of my bookmarks are working. Either that, or I'm getting very forgetful. Both seem equally likely, tbh.

Android mobile app, can't post. It says success! Then oops something went wrong there. Can post from chrome.

Has the 'refresh page' button (handy for the last page or post in a thread - previously at the bottom of the page) disappeared or has it been relocated?
I can't seem to find it any more and it was extremely useful, especially for fast-moving threads. grateful for any info.
Also sort out the capitalisation, please! sometimes it works but not always. Examples in this very post.

Same for me on the android app. Tried logging out and back in, different threads etc. I get 'success' then 'oops...' everytime I try and post.

Yep julesjules and dolphina exactly the same here! Hoping it will be fixed soon, if I can't use a simple app and have to use this awful clunky, busy version, then unfortunately my years on mumsnet are done.

Has anyone had any acknowledgement from @MNHQ about the app posting issues?

I am also one who still can't access PMs.

iPhone SE2020 with the latest iOs: utterly refusing to hide topics or threads. Threads are showing from topics I have hidden, and when I try to hide them manually they disappear until I refresh, then they’re back like magic. This is a dealbreaker for me: I’ve swapped back to the mobile site, which so far is working fine, and I even like the new font.

There's another thread on here somewhere with other posters saying there seems to have been no update from MNHQ for days. I've been here years, and even though there's been odd times when there's been app problems or site problems, it's never been more than a few hours.

Not sure if this is on the list yet but my posts are showing as green, the same as the OPs (whereas they used to be pink)

You can change that in your own settings

Ads are taking forever tomload and blocking all posts from loading while it sorts itself out. And then the pages frequently stick on the placeholder for an ad when im scrolling through a thread until the ad loads
No, I'm not premium so understand its a case of "suck it up buttercup" wrt ads, but it's really annoying and didn't happen previously.
