IPhone X, Safari

NotDonna · 23/04/2022 07:19

Despite following instructions it’s made no difference

OneBiscuitAtATime · 23/04/2022 08:03

Any instructions for resolving on the Ecosia browser on iOS?

fufulina · 23/04/2022 09:05

its so annoying. iPhone. 15.3.1. Safari.

LaundryandDirt · 26/04/2022 21:19

Site is an absolute joke with this Manage Consent pop up. Every click I make it pops up. I’ve kept coming back ever night to check if it’s been fixed.

iPhone XS Chrome Browser.

Hi @LaundryandDirt - sorry you’re having these issues. It’s down to the fact that we’ve moved to a consent management platform that allows people to “reject all” rather than having to click through each cookie individually. There is a fix for the problems you’re experiencing - does the following work for you?

iPhone & iPad
Navigate to your settings
Click on ‘Safari’
Scroll to the bottom and choose ‘Advanced’
Click on ‘Website Data’
Type ‘Mumsnet' into the search box
Swipe left on ‘Mumsnet’ and choose ‘Delete’

Macs
Open your Safari preferences
Click ‘Privacy’
Click ‘Manage Website Data’
Type ‘Mumsnet' into the search box
Click on ‘Mumsnet.com’ and choose ‘Remove’
Click ‘Done'

Thanks for the reply. I’ve never used Safari. I only use Chrome. I did Google how to get rid of the cache for just one website last night but fell asleep 😀 I’ll try again tomorrow.

LaundryandDirt · 28/04/2022 21:25

Still happening in my Chrome browser on the iPhone and Chrome only gives me the option to delete all my cookies, cache etc for all websites. 😭

ChiefAdjusterOfRubensShorts · 28/04/2022 22:14

Still happening for me, even after following the instructions above.

CaveMum · 30/04/2022 19:32

Still happening for me too. It’s driving me insane!

LaBelleSauvage123 · 01/05/2022 17:46

That worked on my iphone - thanks

LaundryandDirt · 02/05/2022 20:29

Switched to Safari and no issues. Please fix Chrome though as I can’t stand Safari.

LaundryandDirt · 03/05/2022 19:53

Thank you. I’ll give that a go when I get to the computer. Settings seem limited on the phone.

WorriedMillie · 03/05/2022 21:43

Have tried to sort on iPhone, but couldn’t even figure out how to do it, I don’t even have those options on my chrome app

If I look at the chrome app on my iPhone I see this.

(it's the same on my iPad only the three dots are top right)
