Ads covering half the page!

I browse mumsnet every day, but today it’s been a real struggle as the adverts cover half the page. I’m posting this thread in the hopes that mumsnet see it and could perhaps help with the problem? (I’ve seen people do this before and have had mumsnet commenting on their threads)

It’s really starting to ruin my experience with mumsnet which is a shame as it’s one of my more favourite pastimes! If it helps I’m using it on the Safari Browser on my IPhone

I keep getting Gwyneth Paltrow too! And a series of other inexplicable images.

I have a woman in a red cap taking up half the page!!!

I'm getting full page ads on my phone. Really annoying as easy to click on it inadvertently as I try to scroll.

Same here and I can’t click on anything at the top of the page

Me too. It’s only happened in the last day or so .

It started for me yesterday evening, currently a little is covering any screen space above my phone keyboard. So good knows what I'm typing.

Yep. I’ve just installed an ad blocker for the first time and now I can actually use this

Ditto! Huge ad for cows (??) and I gave up typing in the end as couldn't see the words!!
Please sort it out!

Same here, when I go into a thread the majority of it is covered by an advert so I can only read one post at a time

I gave up reading last night and the lady in the red cap is still there this morning 😡

Still here this morning, it’s making the site unusable.

Some of the links look pretty dodge if you do click on them. Loads of redirects and then ending up somewhere like best debt consolidation dot com

Sometimes it’s not just half the page it’s the whole thing!

Just downloaded a free adblocker and it’s all resolved. Definitely recommend as those ads look really dodgy if accidentally clicked.

Ghostery and Brave both provide decent add blocking capabilities on iOS and Android.

I have no compunction using ad blockers when ads make the site unusable.

Can you let us know which devices you are using, which browsers, and versions of the OS?

It would also be really helpful if you could tell us whether the ads are appearing straight after the OP on threads, or midway through the thread.
