How does Mumsnet decide who is and isn’t a troll?

I set up a new account because I want to stop using this one (too many outing threads that DH may come across), started a new thread this morning, and within an hour my thread was deleted and I have been banned, with no communication. Surely you would see that the IP address is of a well used account, so why ban without communicating? What do you actually investigate? Do you just decide that if there is a new thread by a new user that quickly becomes popular, it must be a troll and they must be removed?

I don’t know but I got deleted yesterday for saying that the OP’s mum was a dirty bitch because she handled the OP’s baby after scrubbing mould without washing her hands and when the OP tried to ask her mum to wash hands, her mum told her it was fine. Seeing as MN doesn’t delete swearing, it seems bizarre to delete a simple statement of fact, that contained a swear word.

It’s incredible the amount of passive aggressive nastiness that is allowed to remain on here whilst stuff that is not a problem is deleted.

Unlimited name changes are allowed. You have broken rules hence ban hammer. The end.

@FlibbertyGiblets is correct - we don't allow multiple accounts and we'll act to moderate when we see them. We'll always take a close look when a new member starts a thread that gets several reports - hopefully you'll agree that it's a strength of our moderation.

The difference is that I shared an opinion - I didn’t answer a question that I hadn’t been asked. No ‘irony’.

A thread which was addressed to MN HQ? Therefore, you clearly read it when actually you should have just left it alone as you already knew it didn’t concern you. So why again was it you clicked and then posted on this thread?

A question had been asked. @FlibbertyGiblets answered it but was then told they were not allowed to as only MNHQ were allowed to. I think that's it anyway.
