And I'd like to be able to unpin specific threads. Not just all-or-nothing. [whinge]

Tech: I didn't read all 15 pages of this thread, so may have already been reported, but when clicking on a specific post in "threads I'm on" it doesn't take you to that post but to the beginning of the thread (at least in Firefox). Bloomin' annoying when it's pages long and you can't remember where you got to

Oh, and when you post on a long (several page) thread then it takes you back to the first page again, when surely you want to be back on the last page where you just posted?

I'm on Firefox and mine takes me to the post, Rubberduck. It jumps shortly after loading the thread.

um, someone might have pointed this out before...but you can't tell who has a profile now and who hasn't...was this a deliberate change?

(I'm not viewing in pages and am reading bottom up though, wonder if that makes a difference)

I am viewing pages (book style) so I think it's an issue in that format, soupy.

Sounds like it's a viewing-by-page problem then.

On the little description of ignore stickies, it says that the threads will only appear whenthey are active, jut slike any other threads. So why are they still appearing with the sticky icons at the top of active convos for me and not in the normal active convo list like any other active thread

Hi RubberDuck, re Threads I'm on not jumping to the right page - I'll have a look at that. We fixed a similar problem on "search all" last night. I may not have done TIO as well.

I haven't read all the message so I'm not sure if this has been said before: I'm getting confused with the icons for page navigation, the fact that the icon for moving just one page has a line followed by a triangle, while the one to move right to the end has the triangle followed by the line. Not that difficult, I know, but wouldn't it be simpler to have just the triangle for moving one page, and the triangle plus line to go to the end?

Other than that, congratulations on a seamless move - it's a miracle that you managed these changes without any disruption to the boards, so well done.

Sorry to add to your things to do, but I find I can't get rid of the pinned topics even though I have asked to ignore them. This is not a huge problem, but something is obviously not working there.

More importantly, despite asking to ignore for sale threads, I am finding that sometimes they are appearing in my active conversations. Usually, once I click to something and then go back to active convos, they have gone, but again, something is not quite right.

Apart from that, I like the changes. Thank you for doing it.

Could you spare a moment to help me out, please Techy?

What is happening with ignore? Sometimes it is there and sometimes it isn't. And I just ignored the book one (sticky) and went back to active onversations and it wasn't ignored (ie without closing the window).

Um, the number of posts is still wrong Tech!!!
