LOL @ Lapin...

DottydotsofBloodOnTheFloor · 25/10/2007 22:09

Tech - I love the fact that you've put the moon thingy on, (which I actually like by the way!), so you knew we're all utterly bonkers around about now but you still went ahead with these enormous changes. Insane brave man..!

GarrottedbyElasticband · 25/10/2007 22:12

excellent. loads of ignoring, wondering why i am here??

EmsMum · 25/10/2007 22:13

I love the Customize (which should have a z ) and the ignore button. Very easy to find what to do,
rolled out with hardly a hiccup as far as I could see.

Well done tech.

I still want some more emoticons though, with or without hats.

Sixer · 25/10/2007 22:14

Like the idea, not so good at immediate change. I tend to go into new stuff gently. So will be running new 'sty-lie' by Xmas. Love the moon though. It just answers everything on its own by being there.

alyblackcat · 25/10/2007 22:14

OK I'm sure it's already been asked and I can't be arsed to read through all 11 pages.

Do I have to 'ignore' every thread that I do not wish to read? How do I make it permanently ignore 'For Sale'?

I have pressed the 'go back to mumsnet classic' (and changed the colour) but alas reams of buggies and French Connection cardis.

lucy5 · 25/10/2007 22:16

Ive gone back to classic, being an old fossil. On some threads I can see everything and on others just a few. Sometimes , I start with the original post and sometimes the last.

Not complaining, just letting you know

nannyjo · 25/10/2007 22:16

Is there a way of going back onto the active convo list and having ones you have recently posted on highlighted as they were before. Makes it easy to take a quick peek to see if anyone has responded to your posts.

Tech · 25/10/2007 22:17

alyblackcat, you can go to this page and choose whole topics to ignore there. Just move the topics you want to ignore over into the right-hand box and click "save selection". Then they should disappear from active convs

okkkkkkkkkkkkk , my tired frazzled head isnt doing well with this this evening so cant read much on here ,as really not liking the whole page thingy , takes much longer to read everything and cant face clicking on each page one by one.

Would it not be easier to have each page numbered so you can go back /forwards to whatever page you want??( I know that means that many more pages will be added as posts are , but you can keep previous ones fixed non?????)

I want my flip thingy back really wahhhh wahhhh wahhh !!!!!!!!!

CrookshanksinJimmyChoos · 25/10/2007 22:18

Tech - hope you are getting overtime!

alyblackcat · 25/10/2007 22:18

I don't want blardy chat either.

[can't cope with change emotion]

Quadrophenia · 25/10/2007 22:19

Melsy you can change it back to unlimited posts by customising

GarrottedbyElasticband · 25/10/2007 22:19

AND i can now get on big threads without freezing........... see

JustscreamMumsnet · 25/10/2007 22:19

Melsy go here and click on Mumsnet classic - all will be as it was for you.

beautifuldays · 25/10/2007 22:20

but please can we have the ability to flip threads back? please

JustscreamMumsnet · 25/10/2007 22:21

yes we are working on the flip thing - small glitch but will come.

DoctorAficionadoDelArse · 25/10/2007 22:21

Ignore is good.
Ize is bad.
No flipping flip is terrible.
Classic is a blessing as new stylee is awful.

JustscreamMumsnet · 25/10/2007 22:22

is that a Haiku?

beautifuldays · 25/10/2007 22:23

thankyou MNHQ

melsy · 25/10/2007 22:26

ahhhhh phew !!!!!!!

ScaryMonsterStories · 25/10/2007 22:26

Another minor(ish) point.

You guys have lost you (from MNHQ) in hte name bar...

alyblackcat · 25/10/2007 22:29

Thank you Tech, have done that now - hadn't found that option at all! Obv temp blindness caused by the mumsnet muted (my arse) turquoise.

I would post homemade cakes through your catflap in gratitude, if you were to have one in your shed door.

nannyjo · 25/10/2007 22:30

Please tell me how i can find the threads i'm on easily when i go on to the active convos??? It's winding me up having to scan the whole page to find them

smugmumofboys · 25/10/2007 22:31

Is there a "no buying or selling" button? I have looked - but I can't see one!
