Please can we just see the OP updates?

I'm hugely over invested in a thread that's more than a dozen pages long, waiting for the OP to come back, this happens quite often.
Is there any way we could have a button to see OP updates on a si gle page or similar? It's very tedious reading 10 plus pages of "placemarking" or whatever, when all you are interested in is the update.

Does your feed show the OP in a different colour? Mine does so I scroll until I see the OP's colour.

Yes it shows the OP in a different colour, but if she never comes back and you're scrolling through pages of boring old stuff it's a bit tiresome. It would be good to just see the OP if you wanted to, you know?

It's always worked ok for me. No threads are that long.

You can click on 'show all messages' if the thread is longer than one page, and scroll through and just read the highlighted ones. Or use the search facility for the OP's username and it will bring up their posts.

I'd like this feature too. Sometimes you just want to skim through a long thread by reading just the op's posts. Especially if the op says "here's a link to the backstory in my old thread of 1000 posts"

I'd like this. Nothing worse than reading 15 pages to find that OP hasn't returned since the 3rd page.

I like this idea too. Especially when, after a couple of pages, all the other posts are saying basically the same thing and you just want to find out if there are any actual developments!

We've asked for this before, tons of us wish it. You can scroll through literally hundreds of posts trying to find the ops. It's a bit of a ball ache.

Sometimes the OP name changes and updates though, you’d miss those (they don’t highlight in green. Plus, you miss the 5 thousand other posters advising ‘cancel the cheque’ (or whatever) and end up just repeating the same stuff as pp’s if you don’t read the thread or at least skim it to get the general vibe.

I just do find on page and ops name, as well as having ops posts in different colours

In the meantime just do one page (rather than multiple pages) view and have the OP's posts highlighted and it's easy to whizz through to them.

Can't really whizz through on an app, can sometimes take ages to find the highlighted OP if there's been no update for a while. I would love this feature too.

Have a jump-to button, like on reddit, that jumps you to the next op post.

Yes I came here to post this very thread. I click on a very long thread, scroll through for the OPs responses but it would be good to be able to condense all the OP posts into one thread. It would also be good if you could then expand a section between green OP posts to read what went on in between as often they have replied to someone.

This function would be especially useful for posts in relationships where OP might be updating on a situation or those mystery box/noise/scrap of paper with weird writing on type threads so if you come late to the party you can just get to the point and find out what the hell it is!

Yes op posts are in green for me but it can take a long time to ‘quickly update yourself’ if you have to choose,download,scroll through perhaps 10 or more pages often then to see there is no update yet ! I’d think it’s one of the reasons so many post without rtft and end up posting irrelevant comments.

If it can be done it would transform my mn experience !
