I've just logged into someone else's account, using my own details?

I have no idea how this happened?

I logged in using my usual email address and password, went to TIO and realised I hadn't been on any of the threads in question and the account settings were completely different Confused

Then I realised it was someone else's account? Needless to say I logged straight out. I entered the same details again and now I'm back as me.

For the record, I'm not a name changer and have never heard of the person who I logged in as (see attached pic).

I've just logged into someone else's account, using my own details?

I have logged out on my work laptop

I was not logged out on my phone

Previously your site did this and it's fairly standard website security

so this issue is not resolved

I'm using an Android phone, on the mobile site. Quite happily, no forced log out, at all.

The log out is working it's way through - it takes a little while. The app isn't affected so you won't be logged out if you use that.

I'm trying to change my password, clicked on the link in the email you sent, it just takes me to the home page. Obviously I'd really like to change my password, can you help with this problem too?

ALSO (and more seriously in my opinion)

I have just changed my password on my work lap top

I have remained logged in on my phone

This means users cannot secure their accounts by changing their password

It needs to be resolved urgently

Even last week I was getting thrown off mn on the work wifi network, This site is unavailable.

I'm not sure it is sorted. On my phone I can see MN homepage but any other page comes up with http 403...access forbidden. So I have not been logged out & get this message when select logout. But can use on this !

For about a week now I haven't been able to log in on chrome but can on firefox.

On chrome I put my email in, then put my password in but the log in box isn't clickable.

It's fine on firefox.

I have been in touch with MN Lily and she said you guys were trying to work it out. I've cleared cookies. I just tried again and it's still not working.

Is this related to that? Updates?

We have forced logged everyone out.

I'm not logged out - not on my browser or the app (although I appreciate you've just said the app won't be logged out).

If you think this was caused by a recent change that has been reversed, are you treating people getting incorrect notifications as a separate issue? The new namechange ability seems a world of pain, too...
