Unable to log in on Chrome

I’m trying to log in on Chrome on my laptop running Windows 10. I get past the “Enter your email address” page fine, but when I get to the password page and click on “Sign in”, nothing happens - no “incorrect password”, nothing. I’ve switched off the ad blocker for this page and that’s made no difference. Any ideas? (I’ve requested and renewed my password, just to make sure that that wasn’t the issue, but I still can’t log in!)

It sounds like it could be an issue specific to Windows 10 - is there anyone not using Windows 10 and having this issue?

Yes, I'm also having this issue on Chrome, but I'm not on Windows 10, I'm using my android phone. I've had to log in using Opera instead, which I don't normally use at all (and don't like!).

Exactly the same as Bab, I can enter my email address but when I try to enter the password and log in, nothing happens. No incorrect password message, nothing.

It has been like that since yesterday or maybe the day before. I tried changing my password, but no joy.

I didn't even try to log out, the system just kicked me out and then wouldn't let me back in again!

I still can't log on with Chrome either. It's really annoying!

Oh goody. It’s not just me then.
I can log in on my phone but can’t with chrome. Laptop is only 24 hours old so it’s brand new. I’ve even changed my password.

I'm using the desktop site through a browser on my Samsung tablet. Fine logging in to the built in browser, but hangs when trying on Chrome. Click on sign in button and nada, zip, zilch Confused

oh I have the same problem! I just posted a new thread about it because I didn't spot this one.

also on a windows 10 desktop in chrome. I had the same problem with the android phone but somehow got it to go through (by clicking on the screen repeatedly in frustration!)

Sorry for the faff, but we have a few more questions to help us get to the bottom of this, as we haven't been able to replicate it.

Is the email still in the in the input above, despite being greyed out?

Does it make a difference whether you log in straight from the homepage, or if you go the the homepage, then to Talk, then attempt to log in?

Let us know and we'll try to replicate it.

makes no difference what route I try to log in with - I've tried both routes suggested, no difference.

Sorry to resurrect this but I am having this exact same problem now. Greyed out email as @Trudstrundr2 describes. Was there ever a fix?

I’m having trouble logging in using my iPad. The email box is greyed out but my username is in there - that I changed earlier on today using my phone!

Same here. Using Chrome on Apple OS X El Capitan. A variety of problems, but the main one is the unresponsive button.

I had the same thing on Chrome - I cleared my cache (deleted cookies etc from MN), refreshed page, and it worked fine.

This is really annoying, having been logged out automatically because of the data breach, I can't log back into the mobile site on my phone, or the desktop site on my laptop. I'm having to use the app because it's the only way I can log in, and I don't like it.

It looks like I'm experiencing the same problem. I can log into the app ok (iOS) but not using Chrome on my laptop. Windows 10 if that makes any difference.
