Fancy being a Mumsnet Local Tsar? (or should that be Tsarina?)

Are you the source of all local knowledge and gossip? We're looking to recruit committed Mumsnetters to take charge of each Mumsnet local site. The role involves galvanising other local Mumsnetters to make your section as up to date, full of listings and useful as possible, editing new postings for accuracy and checking out new places for possible inclusion.
It's a voluntary post but you can make as much (or as little) of it as you like, stick it on your CV if that would help and/or share it with another Mumsnetter if you're worried about time commitments. If it sounds like something you?d be interested in, sign up here and we'll send you some more info.

If the area you'd like to cover isn't mentioned, please feel free to add it in the "other" box at the bottom.

Thanks
MNHQ

CanIBeAMousePlease · 22/06/2007 15:12

girly - its sweet, your attempt at being deliberately obtuse. But you are, of course, talking utter bullshit.

girlyshirley · 22/06/2007 15:21

why do you think that and how do you know?

hmm... would you just let us know where you live, girly, so we know where to avoid?

girlyshirley · 22/06/2007 15:28

ok, obviously that was being sarcastic because someone earlier suggested that i would do that - duh - course i would. thought you were saying bullshit about the mumsnet bank balance.

charliecat · 22/06/2007 20:14

Why does it matter to you GS? What we mumsnetters are doing with our time, paid or unpaid, why is it bothering you?

MadamePlatypus · 22/06/2007 20:52

but Netmums publish books - nice books with lovely pictures - do the profits go to charity?

carriemumsnet · 26/06/2007 16:55

Hi all

Well fortunately girlyshirley hasn't put too many of you off and we've had another fantastic response, with loads more volunteers. I've spent the day trying to collate lists of places, nicknames and emails so if you've volunteered or emailed us about this and haven't heard, huge apologies and please bear with us!
Thought we should also publish an updated list of the areas still lacking a Local Tsarina. If you think you might be able to take charge of one of these places, please sign up here

Big thanks

MNHQ
