So how do we all feel about having Burger King banners?

Hello, hello,

Burger King have been in contact to ask us to pitch for some of their banner dvertising business due in September (not sponorship mind). We have Macdonalds on our banned list because of global domination, Mclibel and issues to do with their suppliers (Fast food nation critique) - it's not really about their products as such.

So our instinct is that BK is OK and we can try and relieve them of some cash...

But what thinkest you, MNetters, about the prospect of being confronted by someone eating a flame-grilled sausage sandwich - would you all flee in horror?

OP posts:

Look at the FSA anti-salt add (6g limit per day).
Then look at the salt content of a BK Whopper with cheese, add in the hydrogenated veggy fat and the sodium benzoate.
Voila, a recipe for disaster.

Hathor · 24/05/2007 11:36

Oh just read OP - it is not about the product itself.
Best look into the working conditions then -anyone?

ediemay · 24/05/2007 11:37

One BK Whopper with cheese, 316g.
800 calories
18g saturated fat
1420mg sodium
11g sugars

Statistics please Hathor

It is probably better for you than a Duchy's Original's HandFinished Cornish Pasty
