Why is Goady Fuckery still so prevalent on MumsNet

Anyone that has been here a while knows the —rules— guidelines. It seems that posters can still blatantly start TAATs and post goady shite and get away with it.

What’s the point of having guidelines if certain posters can disregard them anyway?

Good for you. I'd rather have someone who 'bleats on about guidelines' than goady fuckers continually sneering and taking the piss out of posters and posting 'asslicking' memes.

Deeply unpleasant people.

NotReallyArsed yeah, I must admit I do not see much racism etc on here but if there were, definitely should be deleted. Or maybe a post explaining why certain words or expressions which are racist etc are not acceptable before the thread gets pulled? So the ignorant can learn.

NotReallyArsed IME most disabilism is stemming from ignorance- I see threads where a poster with a hidden or MH related disability is disbelieved - I have seen posters with MH issues who admit in their posts they are struggling and maybe even at risk yet they are disbelieved, called manipulative or fakers etc. I do not think those threads being deleted do anyone a service- what is needed is education so people know that when someone says they are struggling they really are etc...Just deleting it won't educate the ignorant. I have seen vile statements on MN about how self harm desires are expressed on athread for attention or because soemone is not getting their own way in a thread. Yeah, some posters are trolls, but surely better to give the benefit of the doubt to someone who may do something risky to themselves. Being distressed trumps someone being annoyed by a trolly thread. Annoyance is not going to harm anyone.
