Why doesn't Justine come on MN and discuss thongs

Puggsville · 08/08/2017 11:36

I love MN and have no intention of flouncing. I'm also not invested in The Thread That Must Not be Named, but ..

Lots of MNetters are upset/angry/confused about that and other matters. Long term posters are getting banned. Moderation policy is bewildering.

I remember when it were all fields round here Justine used to regularly engage with the membership. Can't she do it again, to resolve matters and show us we're still loved?

So when Justine gets back from her hols, she can chuck some thongs in the washing machine and get on here and chat to her product. Sorted 😀

Thongs and the woolly huggers on crack. The highlight of my MN day!

magimedi · 08/08/2017 20:01

Pencils (lovely to see you!) - look out for them in a sale - they really sort out all arse probelms!

(And for all obsessive MN washers - they come up whiter-than-white in a 40C wash!)

ilovesooty · 08/08/2017 20:02

And Dawn.
And YetAnotherHelen and YetAnother Becky.

PigletWasPoohsFriend · 08/08/2017 20:04

*arse

TheRollingCrone · 08/08/2017 20:18

Pencils I need to know why you were ruuning-away to Ireland. ..And good choice on the sloggis

PencilsInSpace · 08/08/2017 21:14

I was mentally unwell and ran away to join a self-sufficient commune. It was the making of me and they weren't a cult at all the sloggis stood up to lots of hand washing and physical labour Smile

magimedi · 08/08/2017 22:03

Sloggis stand up to everything!

(As, I am sure, does the lovely Pencils)

Hey all - I can confirm that Justine is indeed on her summer break.

I want to say that we'll debrief her when she gets back, but that now sounds every kind of wrong in the world.

More seriously - we will of course be talking through the big issues that have been raised over the last few days with her as soon as she gets back. I'm hoping she manages to get a few days break though - she works like a Trojan for 99% of the year.

CauliflowerSqueeze · 09/08/2017 00:23

debrief hahahhahahahahhaaaa!!! Very good, Kate!

HoneyDragon · 09/08/2017 00:24

Trojan

MadamePomfrey · 09/08/2017 00:30

Debrief I do hope once that is done you will clear up the very important thong issue at hand!!

HemanOrSheRa · 09/08/2017 00:38

She works like a Trojan. Arf. Cough. I've just drawed my vape dry.

TheRollingCrone · 09/08/2017 00:55

Pencil you need to write us a blog on that - sloggis 'an all.

The most interesting people are here

Solo · 09/08/2017 01:39

Ahem! justanothernameagain said about debriefing first! .

Aaaannd! Sloggies do great thongs too although I only wear big Briidgets nowadays.

Politicspanda · 09/08/2017 07:11

I pretty much only wear ancient Sloggis bought in my carefree single days. I can't afford to replace them but nothing else matches up. DH does not find 15 year old grey pants alluring though.

MOIST · 09/08/2017 07:37

I have discovered the long leg sloggi. Bought to combat chub run on holiday they are so amazingly comfortable I have taken to wearing them all the time.

PencilsInSpace · 09/08/2017 09:38

Haha no blog, it would be far too outing.

MargeryFenworthy · 09/08/2017 10:46

I searched Bellrooms on Facebook and came across a post by a guy whose initials weren't DK who was congratulating his wife on her new initiative, Bellrooms. The mystery deepens.

RolfNotRudolf · 09/08/2017 11:17

I think we need to get to the bottom of this, to the very foundation - before we establish who slipped up and Y.

justanothernameagain · 09/08/2017 11:41

MargeryFenworthy sent you a PM

Solo · 09/08/2017 12:11

Oooh! The long legged Sloggi eh?!

No, not really, I only lurk and post in AIBU, Relationships and Chat. Tried Brexit and Scotland (for the independence stuff) but the Xenophobia and Sturgeon Hate made them a little repetitive.

Anyway, in the three very busy areas I do frequent the current angst driven stuff of Mumsnetters who are way over invested in what is an anonymous forum didnt make an appearance. So whilst a handful of people want things done their way, the vast majority of users have no idea what the recent knicker twisting has been all about.
