Any chance of a True Crime Section please HQ? Then those that find discussing such things distasteful can hide the topic.

What's the name of the forum where people discuss this stuff? Websleuths is it? We could join that?

Wow. I'm fairly new to MN but I'm really surprised that crime threads get shut down. There are a lot of very good reasons to discuss it.

• Open justice. Works as both a deterrent and a reassurance to the general public.
• Breaks down taboo. Encourages victims of crime to come forward and not feel ashamed.

I realise these topics are sensitive to some, so filing them somewhere where users can choose to hide them makes perfect sense.

I've just noticed that there seems to be a crime section - I assume that's new in response to this thread?
