So I clicked on a thread I had been commenting on and this appeared across my screen. Couldn't see an X to close it and it didn't disappear. Came off the thread and back on and it's gone again now. Strange.

Keep getting these. It's like fucking Netmums round here!

I'll tell you this, as a result of this I now have such a huge animosity towards GiffGaff that I will never,ever use their services.

Finally shift the demon hell children of paint my photo and now they've been replaced by sodding giffgaff. I think I might have to flounce temporarily - it's getting ridiculous!

Please stop doing this it's ruining my precious mumsnet time. If this keeps up I am going to have to do something drastic like house work or talk to my husband.

iPhone 6 here on mobile site - the ads are blocking my screen and not going away. If you click close it asks you if the ad is inappropriate or irrelevant and still does not go away. Most annoying. Just to add my tuppence worth.
Do I need to download the app to get rid of it??

I'm now getting the gift gaff one across the entire screen, alternating with an ad at top (Lakeland) and another at bottom (Pfizer). Android. Can't read anything and the giff gaff one won't close.

I've just had another one and click on close and it doesn't go away!

Bum bags??? Mumsnet really. Andriod here but only on phone app not tablet.

My contribution for what it's worth. Android on a Sony Xperia. Twice in two threads, and can't get rid of them without closing Chrome. Please make it stop!
