So I clicked on a thread I had been commenting on and this appeared across my screen. Couldn't see an X to close it and it didn't disappear. Came off the thread and back on and it's gone again now. Strange. Hmm

Yes the A2 is called a page edge, you should only ever see that once a day thoughSmile

I got the milk one yesterday.
Sorry Hq in my opinion once a day is once too many

That page edge is annoying. It distorts the whole interface.

ScandiManny · 26/11/2016 15:27

It's really annoying and every time you scroll even slightly the woman morphs into a bottle of milk then a pair of pants ( Hmm ), it's really distracting.

I agree - it would be more tolerable if you could dismiss it, but you can't.

Space on a mobile screen is so small anyway, that an advert that size is just incredibly intrusive, and makes the rest of the page unreadable.

I thought this had gone away, but now the A2 milk ad is taking up 2/3 of my screen. Squashing everything from the top and the side leaving me with a teeny tiny square of MN in the bottom left hand corner.

Installing Adblock plus (it's free on App Store) gets rid of all these problems.

I know MN relies on advertising revenue but the ads got just too much for me.

I would have been willing to pay for access to an ad-free MN too.
