Dear MN
This site should be good, but it is full of people who should be getting help in RL.
Parents or carers should be spending time playing with their children instead of typing rubbish on here.
And then COD and all that stuff. Oh my.
I was touched when I joined and helped in the Xmas appeal and it was well planned.
The receiver has been having a hard time, I know and i was happy to give to anyone to make their Xmas abit brighter.
But, but what pisses me off when they then post about expensive gifts they brought for their kids, things I couldnt afford to give my kids this year. Whats all that about? Just didnt think did they!
One good thing has come out of it, and that is this experience has taught me a good lesson for the New Year and that is to hold those who are your friends and family in RL close to you and stop mucking around and wasting your time with people here who are trying to be funny, put you down or just offer rubbish advice.
Its all too much for a simple mum like me. I wish you all good luck in the future, but im off.
Only stayed 3 months, so take this as my notice of leaving.
I hope you all have a better and Happier New Year especially to those who truly deserve it like martianbishop.
Kind regards

Hey, it's AITCH!

What's up for your Hogmanay?

I'm all set to watch 'Only an Excuse' and, hopefully, bar gale force winds, the Hogmanay party at Edinburgh Castle for the big bash!

Woohoo!

My 5th Scottish New Year!

HappyHogmanAitch · 31/12/2006 00:47

ooooh, and the fireworks... i LOVE the fireworks.

I'll be going to a pal's house for haggis, neeps, tatties and BOOZE. Taking the baby with us as all of us have children so we'll park them upstairs to sleep, have a drink and will just have to brave the hurricanes on our way home. At least that's how i'm hoping it'll go. If dd refuses to sleep then we'll be back home by half nine. and watching only an excuse, natch.

expatinscotland · 31/12/2006 00:50

Last year, I went out w/my mum to celebrate at a trendy pub down the road, so this year, it's DH's turn!

He's heading across the road to his local.

But that's okay, cuz I have my supply all ready .

His local is the SkyPlus pub, so they'll be watching Only an Excuse and Still Game.

I think the party at the Castle will still go. Only 40mph winds predicted!

Piece of cake!

DD2's been sleeping for crap, though.

So here's hoping!

expatinscotland · 31/12/2006 00:51

They have been practicing the fireworks at the castle both last night and tonight, so here's hoping!

Am about 2 miles from the castle, and can see them very clearly from here in good weather.

Go Leith!

HappyHogmanAitch · 31/12/2006 00:54

i used to live on Bread st, just off lothian road. from my bedroom you looked right up at the castle and the fireworks. if you go to that pub in Lady Stair's Close (Judges? something like that maybe?) then you come out well-oiled and bang in the middle of the best spot for the fireworks without having to queue. really annoys people...

expatinscotland · 31/12/2006 01:03

I'll bet it really annoys the people who just paid £150,000 to my work colleague for his one-bed flat just there.

Dumb asses.

He and his partner are moving just down the road from us next week .

HappyHogmanAitch · 31/12/2006 01:04

i'd have thought a ton-fifty was cheap for embra.

expatinscotland · 31/12/2006 01:15

For that heap he paid £35,000 for?!

He's a Fifer git as mean as they come, too.

And now that Seafield Road tolerance zone is no longer since all those posh flats went up - w/the smell of the sewage plant and a fucking cemetary nearby - all the prossies hang about Lothian Road.

Nice!

HappyHogmanAitch · 31/12/2006 01:20

the flat i lived in was about £30,000 ten years ago. god knows how much it would go for now...

VeniVidiVickiQV · 31/12/2006 01:55

hunkermunker · 31/12/2006 01:58

HappyHogmanAitch · 31/12/2006 02:00

HappyHogmanAitch · 31/12/2006 02:01

VeniVidiVickiQV · 31/12/2006 02:02

But you are a sick fuck?

And its not like there arent plenty of fucks and wankers on this thread either

I feel victimised.......

hunkermunker · 31/12/2006 02:04

Aitch, you are wise beyond your years

I can only imagine that there are MNers who aren't aware of my status of "sick fuck" and MN Towers thought they'd better let them find out for themselves.

DeepPann007 · 31/12/2006 02:05

There is no-one sicker. Or fucker. Or wankerer???

HappyHogmanAitch · 31/12/2006 02:07

Well, you sick fuck, and everyone else, I am off to bed...night night

hunkermunker · 31/12/2006 02:12

HappyHogmanAitch · 31/12/2006 02:12

you know i briefly toyed with the idea of registering sickfuck and wankermunker as mine own, but yesterday i took a Firm Line with someone about namechanging so that would make me a sick fucken hyprocrite. i am gutted, naturally.

VeniVidiVickiQV · 31/12/2006 02:13

ROFL at you two!

Night CunterHunter

hunkermunker · 31/12/2006 02:14
