Julia Long for a webchat?

Hi MNHQ,

Just watched Julia Long on C4 about transgender issues and how they impact on women. There has been a lot of discussion of these issues on MN recently, and Ms Long seems to have a different view to mainstream/government etc. I thought she could be an interesting MN guest?

Very good idea! I know Julia a little, and she is wise and brave in the way she speaks out on this issue (and others). She is considered quite a controversial figure in some feminist circles, and her viewpoint isn't heard enough.

Trying to google her for more info and I'm struggling so I definitely think Juila in her own words would be valuable.

I just watched her interview with Jack Monroe on Youtube. No Jack, transwomen aren't women and this is precisely why we need people like Julia to have a platform, people who are not afraid to stand up to to this removal of women's liberties.
