Suddenly redirected to porn sites...again

Just now, browsing Active Convos. Mning on a Moto G. Sites were 'the social network of sex' and 'snapfuck' redirected via redirector.themobilehub.net

We made some changes on the site earlier and I wanted to check if the redirects are still happening? We've been scanning the site ourselves and haven't seen the redirect this afternoon but it's very difficult to emulate everyone's set-ups, so that's why your reports are so important.

Thanks Collette. I've had no more incidents exactly, however just now while looking at Active Convos there was '405 not allowed' in place of an ad at the top. I don't know if that's good or bad news.

I had one about 30 minutes ago. Two or three 'dodgy' sites appeared in quick succession then a pop up telling me I had a virus inviting me to click it to clear it. I just turned off my tablet and everything seems to be ok now. On a Samsung tablet using Android and the mobile version (I think).

Just happened to me now. Snapchat porn and then a pop up telling me about a virus. I'm using an android phone.

Me too but my tesco phone contract blocked me. Just said I'm not registered as over 18 lol

Had to keep bashing the home button on my phone to get off it.

This just happened on my phone (samsung android). Suddenly switched to a porn site called Smashbox showing two young topless women. Really disturbing.

Oh and i also got 405 not allowed in place of the advert banner.

Not porn but am being redirected a lot tonight, from various threads on the active board. Once redirected I can't use the back button and have to close the tab completely.

Ah this must be why I had a tab open to a porn page at p.xfuntube.co.uk this evening. I was confused. Using an android phone chrome browser.

A bit more info about the issue (and its not MNs fault).

You can prevent it by disabling JavaScript in your browser, but unfortunately this will also stop a lot of legitimate things working properly.

I've just been sent to 'won a prize', was wondering if it was just me, but obviously not!

Thanks all, these reports are really helpful. We realise this is very frustrating so thanks for your patience so far, it's very frustrating for us too.
We have very few ads running on mobile and tablet now as we have been systematically turning these off since this was first reported, you'll mainly just see ads promoting internal mumsnet features/products. Consequently, we'd expect the redirects to no longer be happening. Is this the case?

It seemed to be working normally last night on my android phone (on laptop typing this and it's fine).
