Difficulty in reading posts in that compulsory highlight colour

I'm a mole very shortsighted. I'm finding it very difficult to read posts now they're highlighted in that APPALLING dark green colour. There's not enough contrast to read quickly and comfortably.

I'm not visually impaired, but I'm having difficulties. Can't imagine how awful it would be for those with visual impairment.

The improvements are crap.

The new colours are too vivid. Very uncomfortable. Please reinstate former colours!

I have just popped back after going off in a huff about the changes! Seriously though, I cannot use MN in the way I would like to with that new green.

My feedback is the green has to go or be muted down. It makes me feel a bit odd and kind of hurts my eyes. There is no way I can settle down to an afternoon of mumsnetting with that shade of green.

The lavender is OK, I used to use it before. Am slightly confused as I always had lavender for OPs posts before and a nice muted green for me!!

Agree - hate the green. It seemed to happen while I was half-way down a thread yesterday.

I had chose two contrasting pale colours for the OP and my posts - and that was fine. Why the change?

Also agree with GiantGaspingSatanicCyst about the blue banner. Once is ok, but it keeps popping up, over and over again!

Oh .... it's all gone back to the darker green again.

What's happening?! Now it's gone back to lime green (OP), lilac (me).

Now it's changed back to dark green again, for both, again.

Ah, it's OK now - but I had to go back into customise.

Unsolved, go back into customise - you'll probably find that both your and OP's highlight colours are green. You'll have to change them.
