It takes up so much of my phone screen! And takes ages to load properly so have to wait to be able to click and get rid of it whilst trying to read the tiny inch of thread it leaves me with rage thanks for organising the survey!

It is annoying as hell, but they won't remove it, just like they never got rid of the hugely hugely annoying drop down boxes with awful stereotypical pictures despite everyone hating them.

As JustineMumsnet has explained here, we brought in the sliders (technical term that) as lots of people were upset about missing out on webchat and other exciting things we do. We totally understand that there might be a few teething issues, so we're getting our tech bods to look into how we can make them better. Please do bear with us in the meantime

God yes, just put a sticky at the top of Chat. Takes two seconds to check and see, and no bloody annoying purple pop up. Whoever thought that was a good idea needs a slap.
