New layout on mumsnet , Mmm not sure I like

Is anybody else finding the new layout slight off putting or am I stuck in my ways

I'm sorry if someone's asked this before but how do I get the new site to highlight op posts?! My posts are highlighted but op posts aren't.

I'm really not enjoying the new layout.

Ah just seen thisonesforyou's post about highlighting.

I set it to highlight OPs posts and it doesn't work. Did the first thread but not all of them. Even though it looks like it is still set up.

Still not sure.

Love the emoticon buttons though.

The social media/sharing buttons have too much prominence.

Oh I just spotted the tiny dots that lets one navigate to the top of the page. That's useful but wasn't easy to find.

Here's what the menu looks like on clicking those dots. It's not great.

In line with most of this new site, the lines are too pale. There needs to be more definition between the sections.

Can I change the colour of the shortcut bar please? White on blue is a notoriously bad colour combination for anyone with sight difficulties. And this really pale blue is grim.

What the heck has happened? All threads flipped? New layout. Why oh why not leave things alone?

I tried to change back to classic on customise page but it reverts back to new each time

I've just clicked between pages and my customised settings (all posts on one page, OP and my posts highlighted in different colours) have disappeared. I hope that's just a temporary glitch.

It fllipped ust from one minute to the other. All threads upside down and a new layout on threads I'm watching.

And flipped back just as suddenly. Oh well

Yay! The options for first, previous etc are at the top now.

I am hating the way Threads I'm On has changed.

Complete PITA getting bounced back to the very start of the thread. And I want to get the details of the latest posts (not just a number) so I can see if there's any point on going back to a thread I'm on.

I'm still having a wee problem with the pics at the bottom loading. Both the one in the right hand circle and the ones om the shortcut bar. I really appreciate the changes that are being really speedily made though. Thank you very much mnhq :)

Gah, now I see what everyone is complaining about!

Using iPhone 4 and the navigation is much worse, particularly the changes to Threads I'm On. Why can you no longer see the preview of added posts, and tap on them to go straight to the point you last read? Who wants to scroll down a full post every time?!

The viewing screen is stupidly squashed between the advert and the bottom button bar too.

However, I do like the "clean" font and touch-button option for emoticons. But TIO navigation changes are ruining it for me.

This is the first time I've been able to log in here problem free. So no complaints here so far. It seems quite user friendly too
