New layout on mumsnet , Mmm not sure I like

I'lladd not refreshing, no navigation at top of thead, TIO is from days ago, "top" and "report" buttons needed.

This is horrible. Switched to desktop site in desperation.

I want the threads I've opened before to be highlighted in another colour.

I want the OP's posts highlighted all through a thread, and in a colour I chose.

I want to see the last few posts on "threads I'm on" so I can see whether I want to bother looking at it, not some completely random number next to it.

Quite apart from not liking how it looks.

Am on chrome on my phone and can't highlight OPs posts.

When I click on threads I am on it doesn't take me to the most recent posts.

To get to the last page I have to go to the bottom of the page and then click on last.

I don't seem to be to flip the threads either.

Have typed this on my laptop as far less irritating.

Please MNHQ please don't try and fix what wasn't broken, we never asked for a downgrade

Agree - this is horrible. Too much white space. Not enough info on the main list pages. If I wanted something that looked like an app I'd have installed the app. I tried it and went back to the mobile site as it had more content.

This is awful. I thought everyone was overreacting until my mob mn suddenly switched last night. It's hard to read and I can't find things any more.

What's putting me off is the fact it's really hard to actually read the writing on the background, I got a headache last night from all the white and I have my phone on lowest brightness settings..

I'm also missing seeing a preview of the last few posts of a thread when in TIO and active convos is nearly impossible to read.. :(

The different colours for OP and me have gone.

There is no "back to top" button.

On “threads I’m On” – it no longer tells me who was the last to post, I have to click in to it and the scroll ALL THE WAY DOWN. Sometimes, no-one new has posted and so it was pointless clicking into it and scrolling all the way down. What a waste of 30 seconds

I liked the way I used to be able to preview the last replies to a thread, and click onto the particular poster’s reply, and scroll down from there.

I couldn’t bear it last night. I didn’t want to post about my disliking straight away, I thought I’d give it a chance, change some settings (which are very limited) and see how I go.

But last night I just got annoyed and switched off (good really, as I went to sleep earlier than I would have done). This morning, it annoyed me again.

I only use Mumsnet on the computer at work. I mainly use it on my phone when I am at home and need to relax a while. This layout has really put me off using at all.

Please make it stop!

PS. I have never liked the mumsnet app, tried it again last night, still don't like it. Loved the old mobile site...

Blackberry bold 9900 (to my shame, worst phone I've ever had but that's another story).
I can hardly read anything because half the screen is taken up with the massive advert at the top and the navigation tool bar at the bottom.
No 'back to top' or 'report' buttons. No 'view all posts' option.
This is really really awful. I primarily use MN on my phone and these changes make it really difficult. Why why why did you do this?

Last night I hadn't a clue what everyone was on about. I use safari through my Mac and iPad to get the desktop version and on my S3 phone I use the app which is basic but workable. So I had to look for the mobile site to see for myself. It's a shame that the Tech department didn't hang around or re jig the day so that there was someone on shift to sort out glitches or answer questions. The launch was delayed admittedly but at the same time it still feels rushed. Far too many glitches/problems for users.

Mines gone weird again and I think it's deliberate this time. When I click on threads I'm on, it takes me to the first message not the last, does anyone know how to fix that? Also the threads I'm on page doesn't have a preview any more so I can't see which ones have new messages.

Are there a group of beta testers that hq uses before making these changes?

Some of the pictures are not loading. There's three wee circles below the box to type in. The first has a smiley face, the second has an I. The third is empty.
