Hello

We've got lots of new whizzy functions and apps and mobile sites and whatnot upcoming and we'd like to have a bunch of MNers we can call on to test things for us before we release them into the wild to cause havoc on the boards

Some things will be fairly discrete and quick to test and feed back on; others will be big things (like the apps and mobile sites) and will require you to use them for a few days and have a good poke around.

Of course by volunteering now you're not committing to anything - we'll always contact you first to ask if you're still up for it, and if you can't do it or don't see the mail in time that's absolutely fine.

So if in principle you'd like to be in our testers' group, please sign up here and let us know the following:

  1. how you mostly use MN (desktop site, mobile site, app)
  2. which device you usually use (phone, tablet, desktop, laptop etc)
  3. which operating system runs on the device you usually use (Windows, Apple OSs, Android, Linux etc)

Thanks v much
MNHQ x

Desktop site and mobile site, I'll use the app with a gun pointing at my head.

  1. which device you usually use (phone, tablet, desktop, laptop etc)
    All of the above equally

  2. which operating system runs on the device you usually use (Windows, Apple OSs, Android, Linux etc)

Usually windows or apple. Occasionally android.

muddledsheep · 03/06/2014 15:56

I'm in too - I mn on my android phone and my ipad using the mobile site. Operating systems apple and android equally. Occasionally laptop via windows.

WingDefence · 03/06/2014 16:00

Happy to help.
I use it pretty equally between my laptop (windows IE), my iphone (safari) and ipad (safari).

I tried the app a while back and really didn't get on with it at all. Blush

ShatnersBassoon · 03/06/2014 16:00

I most often use the mobile site on android phone (chrome), but also the desktop site on laptop (IE).

MrsCakesPremonition · 03/06/2014 16:03

Yes please!

I use MN on my Windows laptop with Chrome (prefered as it is easy to type) and the mobile site on my Android tablet and phone. I tried the app and struggled.

Haven't done any proper testing for years since becoming a SAHM.

Pastamancer · 03/06/2014 16:09

Mostly the desktop site on my laptop which runs Linux but sometimes the mobile site on my android tablet and phone.
